It was so cold here. So much ice.

Yet... It felt... nice. Like all the burns were being frozen away.

"Sabre?"

I turned to see Blue Steve. "Hello."

He sat beside me, cold radiating from him and his energy.

Same as the ice from this world, it felt... healing.

Kind, even though it was cold.

"So... how are you?" He asked.

"I don't feel the burns anymore. I feel... safe. And happy. I don't think I've felt like this since..." I trailed off. I couldn't remember.

He nodded. "It usually takes a bit for the pain of death to subside. It took longer for you though."

"Yeah..." The memory of Nightmare slams into me, burning.

"Hey- Sabre!" He puts a hand on my back, and ice spreads from it, cooling the pain and helping me stop shaking.

"I... I need to go back. I need to help them." I stand up, remembering the faces of the Oranges when I started to die.

"I was wondering when you would be ready. We still need you, but your spirit needed rest before you could go back." Blue stands with me. "I know how to get you out. Are you ready?"

I nod.

"I'm ready now."
