SAVANNAH HAWTHORNE WAS SAM WINCHESTER'S DREAM GIRL. Quite literally. He dreamt about her almost every night, so much as so that if he were asked to draw her face, he would easily map it out-not that he could draw that well.
Not that it mattered.
It wasn't like he was actually going to ever end up seeing her. She was just some odd figment of his ever present imagination. Considering how his life was prior to the whole college thing...this wasn't necessarily as weird as it should have been and so, he just shoved it down, hoping it didn't matter.
Besides, the dreams had stopped and though Sam didn't spend much of his time thinking about Savannah as much as he did before, what with his girlfriend's death, his father's disappearance and the impromptu road trip with his older brother.
So imagine the man's surprise when the woman of his dreams-as his brother taken to believe-showed up in front of their car in a bloodied, wedding gown...when something like that happens, it doesn't necessarily end well and if you throw the Winchester's usual luck into the mix;
Dreams can easily turn into nightmares.
