(Got kidnap and still looking hot asf)
I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room. The air felt heavy, stale even, as if it had been trapped within these walls for years. I struggled to move, my muscles stiff and my head throbbing, as though I had been out for hours—maybe longer. A dull ache pulsed through my limbs, and I winced as I adjusted myself, trying to make sense of my surroundings.
The room was small, with barely enough space to stretch out. Faint moonlight filtered through a high, narrow window, casting thin streaks of pale blue across the dusty wooden floor. I blinked a few times, trying to clear my vision, but the haze remained. I was sitting on a cold, hard surface, my wrists bound tightly behind me by what felt like thick rope. The bite of the restraints sent a fresh wave of pain through my hands, making it nearly impossible to feel my fingers.
Panic surged through me, but I swallowed it down, forcing myself to breathe slowly. Where am I? How did I get here?
The last thing I remembered was walking back to my car, the cool night air brushing against my skin. My footsteps echoed in the empty parking lot, and an unsettling feeling began to crawl up my spine. I glanced over my shoulder, and that's when I saw them—a figure, shadowed in the dim streetlights, following me. At first, I quickened my pace, trying to convince myself it was just a coincidence. But their steps matched mine, growing louder, closer.
Panic surged through me as I fumbled for my keys, my heart pounding so loudly it drowned out the sound of my footsteps. I could feel the figure closing in behind me, their presence suffocating. Desperation clawed at my throat, and just when I thought I was out of time, I saw her—Minju.
Relief washed over me for a split second. She was supposed to be my savior, the one who always came through when things got tough. I had trusted her once, believed she would protect me. But the moment I looked into her eyes, I knew something was wrong. The concern I expected wasn't there. Instead, her gaze was cold, detached, as if she was studying me, not saving me.
"Minju..." I breathed, trying to make sense of what was happening. "Help me."
But she didn't respond. She didn't even blink. Before I could process it, her hand shot out, grabbing my arm in a vice-like grip. My confusion turned to dread, my body freezing as realization hit me like a freight train.
Minju wasn't here to save me.
She was the one I needed saving from.
Without warning, she pushed me backward, hard, into the car that had pulled up behind me. I barely had time to register the door slamming shut before everything went black.
Minju.
Her name flashed in my mind like a warning, but it was already too late.
How could I be so foolish and trust her the 2nd time!!!
