Hana POV
The day before the battle had finally came the morning mist formed around the open fields that will soon become a battleground we had already set up our camp a few days ago now we are in the main tent where Hideyoshi and the others are discussing strategies.
"The Takade Army will intercept the Useugi Army on the north side of the lake" Kanbee explained
"We will have the Sanada Army observe the Date Army's movements and assess the situation from there" He says
"Right" Hideyoshi nodded
"Our army will be aiming for the main line of the Oda Army" Kanbee continued
"Toshiie's squadron will attack them first" He says
"All right!" Toshiie smirked
"It's been a while since we had a huge battle I'm gonna go all out!" Toshiie said
"But Hideyoshi what do you intend to do about the girls?" Mitsunari asked
I looked up at all the adults, everyone looked at us with a concerned looks can't say I blame them for worrying because there is a high chance that one of us or both of us will be captured.
"Are you sure we should've brought them to the battlefield?" Toshiie asked
"It's dangerous especially for Hana" he said
"On the contrary" Hideyoshi said
"We couldn't leave them in the castle because it's dangerous there even our castle isn't safe for them right now" he said
"The enemy armies know about them having blood with the same powers as Himemiko's, and likely the rumors of Hana's abilities" Kanbee pointed out
"On top of it" Mitsunari added
"They also know that Hana can take down Yakuma " He says
"Kanbee,Hanbee I'll be leaving the girls care to you during the battle Hideyoshi ordered Yukimura and Shingen will definitely have my head if I let anything happen to Hana" he said
"Okay!" Hanbee smiled
"yes Sir" Kanbee said
I tuned out the rest of the conversation
later that night I sat at the lake looking at my hands am I willing to take a life in order to protect? I looked up at the sky What should I do?' I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe! whatever it takes as I kept my eyes on the moon, She has family, I am just an orphan..
