A Deadly Thorns Story

Confession? -2-

Iris POV:

I went silent, I didn't know what to say.. I had loved this girl for years, just as I was about to say something the line was crossed, she fainted and I caught her, and brought her to my house, I was sitting next to her on the couch, waiting her to finally wake up.

She woke up an hour later and immediately threw up blood and petals on my floor, but a LOT of blood came out. my eyes widened in horror as I hugged her tightly.

"I love you too..."

After I said that the room was just silent, I hated that shitty silence, it always attacked me at the worst time. My eyes widened a little bit as her eyes slowly closed, she hadn't heard me! "Lorelei! Lorelei can you hear me?!" Shit shit shit I couldn't lose her! I had always had feelings for her but this is to much, my eyes teared up as her body went limp.

1:30 AM

Fear washed over me as I ran to the hospital with her in my arms, I had never wanted to save someone this badly. I finally made it and I yelled, "Someone! Help! My friend is dying!" I couldn't control the fear in me as I tried to calm down, seeing them take her immediately into the ER made me start bawling my eyes out.

6 days later

I've waited and waited for someone to tell me she was okay, I've waited for a call saying I could come and see her, I was starting to give up but then I finally got a call saying that they've gotten her to wake up, but the person that loved her back must come instantly because she doesn't have much time left. I immediately rushed to the hospital, I didn't even bring my car, I got there so quickly I knew that I had to be there with no distractions.

Loreleis POV:

My vision was a little blurry and I was standing by the window, looking at the view but then all of a sudden someone burst through the door, it was Iris... "Lorelei! I'm sorry..!" I teared up a little bit as she ran over to me and gently hugged me.

"I-Iris.. What are you sorry for.." "I was too late! I tried telling you I loved you back but I was too late.. Lorelei I've loved you for so long.." My eyes widened as the room went silent, my breathing got heavier and I couldn't control myself, I was panicking.

I teared up and Iris took note I was hyperventilating and she hugged me, then stepped back to give me some space, I was cured. I didn't feel sick anymore but I felt tired and hungry, and I burned. (Due to sh reasons) Tears rolled down my cheeks as I just stood there, what was I doing?! My breathing slowed down after a few minutes and we were alone, and I couldn't control myself anymore.

"Iris.." I just stared at her, my face heating up as I took a step closer.

"Is it true you love me..?"
