Masha pov
It has been almost two years since my brother Ivan moved from Russia to New York when we were growing up my father Andrey was very sexist towards me and my mother while the boys went to private school I stayed home and my mother homeschooled me and taught me to do the "duties of woman " My father has had multiple affairs. He believes men are superior and has installed that mindset Into his sons especially Ivan I started to notice my brothers were acting just like him But I assumed they were going to grow out of it
as I got older I taught myself about money and management of course my father didn't agree because he wanted me to get married and be a "traditional woman" but I don't even like men I only date woman after a few months of my father not speaking to me we talked some things out and that's how I started working for the family business but to this day I still don't fully forgive him .
since Ivan is the oldest he manages the business in New York while my father and my two other brothers stay in Russia I maintain the legitimate side of the business I make sure the books are right and the inspections go well my family owns a construction company in Russia .
my father and Ivan have a casino and a stock trading company in the states. We hired Sofia to look after things in the states to make sure they are going well me and Sofia have been friends since grade school so we trust her since majority of the business happens in the states I decided to go visit Ivan while my brothers looked after the construction company so I went on the private jet to New York I knew it was going to be a long flight

The next day
I called Sofia to see if Ivan was at the stock company it is called Zero point
Masha : эй, София, как дела?
(hey sofia how are you)
Sofia я хорошая девочка, что ты делаешь
(i am good girl ,what are you doing)
Masha : я в Нью-Йорке, я позвонил, чтобы узнать, был ли там Иван
(i am in new york i called to see if ivan was there )
Sofia нет, он сказал, что не придет сегодня, так что, думаю, он дома
(no he said he was not coming in today so i guess he is home)
Masha : Спасибо, девочка, люблю тебя, целую
( Thanks girl love you , kisses)
After I hung up the phone from Sofia me and my driver left to go by Ivan's house I got there the men let me into his office Ivan looked shocked when he saw me
What are you doing here before he clicked off something on the computer it looked like he was watching someone a girl I responded with "I came to check on you"
" "you don't need to check on me sister I am fine business is good " i know mother wanted me to bring you these they were milk chocolate candy bars called "Alenka " me and all my brothers have a normal relationship even though I don't agree with some of the things they have done
as we were catching up I started to hear thumping and a woman screaming I looked at Ivan confused
