It has been almost three months since grace went missing I went to the police but of course they didn't do anything I told them that she would never just disappear so I decided to visit a old friend.
his name was Billy we used to date but now we are just good friends he is really good with tech so I asked him if he could track Grace's phone and the cameras in the area we found out her phone last pinged infront of a building 2 miles from the restaurant.
he told me it would take some time to get the security footage so i waited for a week when he called and told me what happened
Nadia *phone rings it's Billy *
Nadia : did you find anything Billy ?!
Billy :yeah you have to get over here now
Nadia *hangs up *
When I get there Billy showed me the footage it was some guy putting grace in a van right before the footage was about to end I told Billy to stop it and I noticed it was the same guy from the restaurant that Russian guy.
shit i have to take this to the police I said looking over at Billy but he looked scared "what's wrong Billy " I asked he turned and said "you can't take that to the police forgot you ever saw it he has them all in there pocket that's why nobody is moving to help find your girl I am sorry Nadia " no no I am not sitting on this while my friend is out there with that monster.
I ended up doing my own research and making some calls and pieced together some pictures to find out where he hangs out or lives I ended up finding his house it was deep in the woods and there was a lot of guards but I needed to find my friend
Before I could even walk onto the property men with guns were approaching me trying to restrain me I tried to push past I started yelling to let me go I began to yell telling them to "let me see grace I know she is there that sick bastard one of the guards threw me to the ground threatening me TAKE ME TO YOUR BOSS NOW

I was sitting in my study reading some documents it has been almost three months since I took grace as my own her annoying friend Nadia has been snooping around too much lately thankfully I have half of the police department in my pocket so they were able to scarp grace's "missing persons report "
one of the guards alerted me that there was a woman causing a scene outside i thought who could that be all the way out here I pulled up the cameras and it was Nadia she was yelling I told the men to bring her in and take her to the basement this is going to be fun I couldn't contain my smile.
After I finished my work I went and visited my prisoner I have to admit she was smart she was the only person able to find this place she kept asking about grace I caved and told them to bring grace down I was going to have so much fun with this

Grace's pov
It has been three months since I been here I was recently able to get a calendar that's how I am able to track my time here I was laying down when the guards called me to go to the basement my hands started to shake was I in trouble again the hallway to the basement was daunting the guard opened the door and I saw Nadia sitting on the floor.
my body didn't even have time to react I just ran and hugged her tears started to run down my face " Grace you are okay I was worried about you I missed you" I missed you too Nadia are reunion was broken up early by him he started clapping saying "this is good GRACE BACK UP " I didn't listen I kept holding on to Nadia when he pulled me back by my dress.
Ivan started talking to Nadia he said " as you know you trespassed on my property snooped around my personal life so of course I can't let you live and your dearest friend here is going to pull the trigger" WHAT NO I will not hurt my friend you sick bastard let her go " let me rephrase this you don't have a chose he said handing me the gun Nadia was crying tell me not to do it I couldn't shoot my friend I started begging Ivan telling him I would do anything just let Nadia go please.
Ivan gave me a smirk restating what I said " you would do anything " yes please just don't hurt her " he called one of the men to take me back to my room they carried me out the basement I couldn't stop crying thinking what he was going to do to my friend and it was all my fault I stayed waiting by the door waiting for him to come back he came in the room smiling.

After my dear sweet grace begged me to let the wench live I decided to listen but my mercy wasn't for free I did a background check on her to see who she was close with so I made the threat if she was to tell anybody anything I will hunt down her relatives and I will have people watching her moves after I sorted everything out I went to collect on my favor this was the perfect time to tell grace that we were getting married I didn't want to hear any smart remarks from her I just needed her to say yes
