Our Curse

A new beginning ❤

I came to a secluded place and took a heavy breath which I was holding from a long time. This is tough. The girl I was running from is now my wife. She will live in the same room and sleep on the same bed as me. What to do?

I was flicking the stem of a tree falling over my head with my hand in tension. After sometime my face broke into a smile at the thought of the woman whom I dreamt of marrying is really married to me now. I'm confused of my own emotions. I'm getting worser mood swings than a pregnant woman.

My thoughts ended when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I turned around only to be met with the smiling Dwarka Lord.

Krishna : What happened Ram? Still stuck in choosing between past and future. (He asked making me raise my brows in confusion.)

Ram : I didn't get you father-in-law? (I said frowning in confusion.)

Krishna : you are now married to Anu but still stuck in the thoughts of Aru. Why is that? (He asked making me even more confused.)

Ram : Cuz I love her. I love Aarna first. I-

Krishna : Then why are you not happy. You finally married Aru right.

Ram : I understand your concern father-in-law. But just so you know, dad forced me to marry. I never wanted to make her life a hell.

Krishna : Don't change the topic kid. The woman you loved and the woman you married are same. They share same soul and body. You can't differentiate between them. (He said patting on my shoulder.)

I turned around not wanting to show my tears to the Lord.

Ram : Then what should I do. Let her come to my hell of a life again. I'm a bad omen. Every woman I love would leave me. First mom and then Aru.

Krishna : Are you afraid of doing karm Bacha. Maine kya sikhaya tha geetha main. (He said twisting my ear.)

I winced and told him to leave my ear and he did finally left giving me a mocking glare.

Ram : I'm not afraid of doing karm father-in-law. I'm just afraid to lose her again I can't handle looking at the same lifeless eyes again. Even living in hell is better than experiencing that pain again.

The Lord sighed at his stubborn son-in-law and said.

Krishna : Do you remember the curse boy. It's the effect of curse that's why you experienced her death in kaliyuga. But now  that curse had been broken. You are back to normal. Why do you think the same thing would happen now as well?

Ram : There are quite good number of possibilities the same fate could be repea-

Krishna : It won't repeat son. I'm telling you. You won't loose your Aru this time.(He said making my heart fill with new found happiness.)

Ram : Really! (I asked my eyes filled with joyful tears to which he nodded.)

I quickly ran into his arms and kept saying thanks to which he giggled. After sometime we broke the hug.

Krishna : Ab chale. Vidhayi ka samay hain. (Now shall we go? It's time for Vidhayi.)

We moved towards the royals who are waiting for us both. I bit my lips in nervousness as dad was clearly glaring me.

Karn : Where were you son? And why the hell are you late? (He thundered making me quickly hide behind father-in-law.)

Krishna : Rehne dijiye Jyeshtha. He just went to relax for sometime. As the wedding is quite exhausting. (Let it be Jyestha bratha....)(He said covering for me.)
