Ram
I was in my room's balcony gazing the stars. They looked a little bit more sparkling today. My gaze travelled towards my room which was decorated with intoxicating flowers of jasmine and roses. And the highlight was, A Heart made up of rose petals on the bed. Probably, Abhi's idea. I smiled at his childish antics. He always finds a way to make me smile.
The dwarka royals had already left today evening. My mood faltered when I remembered her teary eyes looking at his father wanting to stop him. She would have been very sad. I couldn't even imagine leaving dad behind, and she left her dad just for me. She's a gem and I'll make sure she'll stay happy forever.
My thoughts broke when I heard the melodious sound of her anklets. I turned around nervously only to open my mouth wide. She's wearing a white saree with no ornaments on except for her nuptial chain and the ornaments which are sacred for a married woman. Her sleeveless blouse tied around her body and the floral jewelry is the cherry on top. She's walking towards me holding a glass of milk making my breath hitch.
Looking at her now, I couldn't help but remember how sensitive she was when we first time had a physical intimacy. I was terrified to the fact, that I even decided to never do that again. But she said It was common for every woman and they will get through it eventually. She's so delicate like a flower but holds the power like some weaponless warrior. She's both bold and shy. I couldn't quite decipher her personality as bold or shy.
I felt difficulty in taking the air in when she finally reached close to me. In the heat of the moment I took a step back making her smile fell. But still she said.
Anu : Aap kyun door jaa rahe hain. Aap hame pasand nahi karthe hain kya? ( Why are you moving away? Don't you like me or what?)(she asked innocently while keeping the glass of milk on a table beside me.)
My eyes observed her every action as if drinking in the pleasure of seeing her that I have been deprived of, for the six months. For everyone it's just six months but they are 15,778,476 Seconds. And I swear to god every second felt like a yug for me.
Anu : apne mujhe abhi tak jawab nahi diya. (You didn't gave me an answer till now.)(she asked with a pout making me come out of my stupor.)
Ram : Kya kaha tha aapne? Kshama kijiyega maine suna nahi Rajkumari. (What did you said? I'm sorry I didn't heard you Rajkumari.)(I said rubbing my nape nervously.)
I can feel my hands shivering, due to our close proximity. "Damn, Ram man up. What ll people think if you shy away like a woman." These were my exact thoughts right now.
Anu : Chalo theek hain. Hame aashirvaad tho dijiye. ( Let it be, Now give me your Blessings.)(she said suddenly and bend down to touch my feet.)
I held her shoulders and said.
Ram : Ye aap kya rahe hain. Main aapse upar nahi hun Rajkumari. Aap aur main Ek saman hain. Yadi aap hamare pair chooyenge tho phir aapko hame bhi choone ki izasat dena padega. Theek hain aapke liye. (What are you doing? I'm not in a higher status than you. You and me are equals. If you touch my feet then you should give me permission touch yours as well. Is is okay with you?)(I asked her making her stand up.)
Anu : Aap aisa kyun baath karthe hain? Aap hamare pathi hain. Aur maatha Draupadi ne kaha- ( Why would you talk like that? You are my husband. And mother Draupadi-)(She couldn't complete her sentence as I put my finger on her lips shutting her down in middle.)
Ram : Don't involve anyone's words or opinions in our relationship. They will say anything but it doesn't mean we have to follow everything they say. (I said looking at her eyes trying to shake the unholy thoughts off my mind for now.)
