The fifth day dawned. Yes, he was here for ok ast five days and today was his first uni day. Nothing much over the days he spent here, just taehyung busy with his work and that's a relief to him. Jungkook remained enveloped in a deep sleep, still weary from the exhausting events of the previous day. His slumber was abruptly interrupted by a loud knock on the door, which swung open wide to reveal the intruder. The man, his voice deep and commanding, pulled back the curtains, flooding the room with bright sunlight that streamed through the expansive glass window. With a swift motion, he yanked the duvet from Jungkook, insisting in a no-nonsense tone that it was time to wake up.

“It’s your first day in college, Jungkook. Do you want to be late?” Taehyung’s voice held a firm edge. Jungkook groaned, burying his face deeper into the pillow before raising three fingers in a silent plea for extra minutes. “No more three minutes,” Taehyung responded flatly. “Get up and get ready.”

Sulking, Jungkook finally sat up, a faint irritation coloring his tone. “Stop acting like my auntie. You…” His gaze shifted to the headboard before locking onto Taehyung. “You act like you’re my husband, Mr. Kim. Your intentions aren’t clear, but if you think you can boss me around, be warned—you should be scared of Jungkook.”

"Scared of you?" Taehyung let out a low chuckle, leaning in until he was just inches away from Jungkook’s face, his gaze piercing and unwavering. He lifted Jungkook’s chin with a single finger, though Jungkook instinctively pulled back, his defiance flashing momentarily. Taehyung only shook his head, the amusement draining from his features as his eyes took on a darker, unreadable intensity.

"Get up," he ordered, his voice dropping to a tone that held an unspoken authority, almost daring Jungkook to resist. But the younger didn’t dare; he immediately complied, rising from the bed. A faint, victorious smirk settled on Taehyung’s face, his satisfaction barely concealed as he watched Jungkook follow his command without a word of protest.

“Go on, take a quick shower, then come down for breakfast.” Jungkook nodded eagerly, taking tiny, almost playful steps toward the bathroom. Taehyung’s eyes followed him, his gaze softening as he watched the boy’s movements. He shook his head, a small, barely-there smile touching his lips. “You’re still the same,” he murmured, almost to himself, though a deep sigh followed, hinting at a weariness that wasn’t physical but rooted somewhere much deeper. He left the room, letting the silence settle, his thoughts lingering even as he stepped away.

Jungkook stepped out with confidence, meticulously dressed to impress. Today marked his first day at university, a new chapter in the bustling heart of Seoul. As a law major on scholarship at one of Seoul’s top universities, he was determined to make an impression. He took a final glance in the mirror, adjusting his outfit to perfection. The city was known for its polished, effortlessly stylish crowd, and he wasn’t about to let himself fall short. For Jungkook, today was more than just a first day—it was a chance to step into the world he had always dreamed of.

"Hmm... I woke up, noona. How's Auntie doing?" Jungkook's voice held a chipper tone as he hopped over to the dining table, already alive with excitement. Today felt like a good day—the kind that promised fresh starts and boundless opportunity. He was carrying the lingering warmth of a pleasant dream and an eagerness for the new experiences waiting for him in the city.
