Sometimes Jeon Jungkook was stupid.

It had been raining heavily yesterday. When Taehyung saw Jeon Jungkook enter the apartment drenched like a stray dog, he knew something like this would happen.

-" He's sick? Man that sucks, he was looking forward to this."

-" What are we gonna do? We can't possibly go without him."

-" He'll live! Besides I'm sure Jungkook wouldn't want us missing out on the water park because of him."

-" Yeah I'm sure too."

Taehyung rolled his eyes from where he was sitting on the couch, hugging his giant stuffed bunny. The glare he sent his friends' way contrasted deeply with his overall cute appearance.

-" Y'all are so heartless." Jin scolded the alphas with hands on his hips. The boys just looked at him with puppy eyes and their faces showed that nothing could stop them from going. "Whatever." He rolled his eyes. " Even if we decide to go, one of us would still have to stay to take care of him."

They all felt silent, looking at each other, waiting for someone to dedicate themselves.

Taehyung watched them like a movie. He knew that at this rate, no one would go as they would just stare at each other until the evening. Not wanting to miss the water park yet not wanting to let their sick friend on his own. The blonde sighed, getting up from the sofa.

-" I wasn't gonna go anyway, had a paper to finish. I might as well keep an eye on him." He said lightly, walking towards their shared room.

Taehyung dismissed his friend's cheers and thanks while he texted his mom.

After a lot of exchange and him reassuring his mom that he was fine, he went towards the kitchen.

The house was buzzing with life as everyone was getting ready and before Taehyung could see the time pass, they were gone.

Taehyung took the direction of Jungkook's room and entered without knocking, finding the alpha buried under blankets with meds scattered on his study desk.

-" Hey..."  He called softly, setting the tray he brought on the study.

Jungkook stirred a little, peeking from under his blanket before groaning tiredly and covering his head.

Taehyung knew about how defensive an alpha could get when they felt weak. They could have been discussing about who would stay to take care of Jungkook but they all knew that an alpha could not have stayed, Jungkook would have reacted strongly, which would have made his state worse.

Taehyung released calming pheromones before kneeling down just beside the apha's head.

-" Wake up Jungkook, how are you feeling?" He asked, voice calm and reassuring.

-" Like shit." Came the nasally reply.

-" Well, you have to eat something or it'd get worse."

-" You cooked?" The alpha wondered, tired eyes peeking at him again.

Taehyung smiled, nodding.
