Four years later.

It was just a normal day at work for Kunikida, writing out reports, typing out said reports, going on investigations and even more paperwork. There is always more paperwork.

Aya was now fourteen, she has recently had her birthday, and is in her second year of junior high. After everything with aya's biological dad was sorted out and he was arrested, Kunikida had made the arrangements so that himself and bram where her legal guardians, there was a lot of paperwork for that, but Kunikida knew that it was worth it. Everyone of aya's birthdays were celebrated with a birthday meal at a restaurant of her choosing and had some of her friends coming over for a sleepover. It was what Aya always asked for, though Kunikida and bram would make sure to do everything that she wanted.

Today, however was Kunikidas birthday, and for the last few years Kunikida insisted on not celebrating it. Only bram and Aya knew that he didn't like the fuss, nor could he show his gratitude once receiving and opening a gift, so every year the two would give him a gift from each of them, and had left the room and watched through a gap in the door. Every time they would catch a glimpse of a smile and once they left they highfived each other proudly.

Another thing that they would do, is every Saturday, when Kunikida cooks, Kunikida would teach Aya how to cook, he thought that it might be a nice skill to know. And Aya liked how fun it was to cook with Kunikida.

Kunikida had grew his hair out so his hair roughly reached to the middle of his ribcage. He had cut off the ponytail once his hair had reached his shoulders. He liked it long, and bram complemented him on it multiple times, especially with the rose sent hair wash he uses. Since his hair would get it the way if it was down, he still puts it into a bobble at work, but this time he would put it in a high ponytail and not a low one, since it just looked better this way. Dazai had pointed out that he looked like a girl like this but all Kunikida said in response was 'I was one, what do you expect?'. At this point Kunikida was content with himself about being a male, but didn't dislike feminine things, and wasn't upset if someone had said he looked like a girl. Hell, he would own that shit. He would strut his stuff with pride. Not literally thought, just figuratively.

Kunikida was writing at his desk as the time for the agency to shut for the night. It was only six o'clock In the afternoon so he had another half an hour to work. The now seventeen year olds had already left as well as the boss who had his niece, nephews and sister come around to visit. This year was the first time Fukuzawa's brother in law had visited. Fukuzawa seemed to be fond of him. However Ranpo was suspicious of him, he didn't actually know why he didn't like this guy, so everyone assumed it's because Fukuzawa liked him so much, Fukuzawa also seemed to like his sisters husband because of their similar personalities. Both very calm but care about their family and they are both self employed as they are both bosses. They seemed to have a similar personality, but Ranpo knew there was something about this man that he didn't like.

(A.N. really quickly, all of this information with Fukuzawa's family is in my story, if you want to know more just check out the third chapter that says part one, of 'God soulmates, meet in every life' , it has more information on the family, because I won't add more here. Just saying, his family isn't cannon, this is just like a side story to my story. It is a story about two characters failing in love in every life, but every life they live in is a different universe that are different shows, films, fanfics, or movies. And they are also born in other country than the last life. Mainly china and England because those are my favorite countries and cultures, but even if I don't know much counties and their culture I am adding more in, because it can't just be two. Anyways back to it)
