She was the kind of woman who made empires bow, yet she chose me to be her partner. That's a honor badge that I would never take off.

— "Well, I've heard about GTDx Technology and its CEO. She is often described as a stern woman by many media outlets. However, I won't judge her before meeting her myself. What truly matters is that you've finally found someone you believe is worthy of your time and your life. God bless both of you."
Nora Knight seemed surprisingly at ease, far from what Arsyn had imagined. He had expected her to disapprove of the marriage, but to his relief, she didn’t. Mr. Gray offered Arsyn a reassuring smile before addressing Nora,
— "I was shocked when I first heard about it, but it's truly amazing that you're in agreement too, Aunt."
Nora paused her meal, placing her fork delicately on the plate, and then looked seriously at Arsyn.
— "Arsyn, tell me everything in detail."
Understanding his mother's intent, Arsyn recounted the entire story, from the beginning to the end. Nora listened intently, not interrupting once, giving him her full attention.
Though Arsyn left out the part where he hugged Juniper, Nora’s subtle smile as he finished hinted that she understood more than she let on.
— "It's great that she agreed, even after seeming so hard to reach. I suppose she doesn’t take kindly to strangers. But, Arsyn, tell me something. You mentioned that she doesn’t know you, but you know her. Does she know your true identity now?"
Arsyn’s hand, which had been holding the fork, suddenly dropped it onto the plate. He was caught off guard and felt a wave of embarrassment, realizing that he hadn’t mentioned anything about his real identity to Juniper.
She knew nothing about his family background or his profession.
Before the situation could grow more uncomfortable, Mr. Gray quickly stepped in, raising his voice slightly to draw Nora Knight’s attention to him.
— "Aunt, I don’t think Arsyn needed to tell Miss Juniper just yet. As he mentioned, she’s someone who gathers all the information she needs about those around her. So, I’m quite certain she must already know about Arsyn’s profession, along with his entire background."
Arsyn felt a wave of relief, grateful that Mr. Gray had managed to defuse the tension before it could escalate. However, Nora Knight didn’t seem entirely convinced. She maintained her smile but replied,
— "Hmm, that could be true—she might already have all the details. But still, Arsyn, it’s your responsibility to tell her everything yourself, especially before you get married. Women like to hear these things directly from the person, not through someone else or from networks. Arsyn, call her and tell her about yourself."
Arsyn looked at Nora Knight, then at Mr. Gray, before finally taking out his smartphone. He typed out a message to Juniper through an app, saying:
[Juniper, there’s something very important I couldn’t tell you in person. Actually, I’m Arsyn Knight. I’m not sure if you know me, essentially a celebrity. I’m an American singer. I apologize for not telling you earlier. I hope you don’t mind.]
— "I texted her already, Mom."
Nora Knight nodded, then offered him a gentle piece of advice,
— "I hope from now on, I won’t need to guide you in your personal life. I want you to make your own decisions, and after you’re married, don’t be a mama’s boy. Love both of us equally—your wife and me. Remember that each and every decision should be yours, Arsyn. I don’t want to hear anyone saying that Arsyn Knight hasn’t grown up."
