It's been 2 months since jai and Amir met and so far they haven't seen each other mostly cause Amir has exams and Jai getting back into that life.

Amir walked in to Mercedes house he felt like it's been forever since he seen her.

He walked into the kitchen and seen her cooking, "hey babes." He said smiling.

She froze, and sat the trey down avoiding turning around.

"Hi Mir." She said.

Amir looked at her confused,  "why you not looking at me?"

"No reason."

Amir walked towards her and made her turn around she looked to the ground and he picked her chin up.

She had a busted lip, a black eye and a big ass scratch above her eyebrow.

"Oh fuck no!" He yelled scaring her.

"Shit mir it's not that bad I'm okay."

His face hardened, "When the fuck did he do this?"

"I-it's not Arlo fault I-i didn't let him in the house."

"Whose fault is it huh?"

"Where the fuck is Jai at?"

Mercedes rolled her eyes at the mention of her brother, "Nigha Jai don't need to protect me."

"He obviously do look at you fucking face nigha are you dumb?"

Mercedes looked at Amir and started crying she hated being yelled at by anybody she blames her self for pissing him off.

"Where are the twins?"

"With my mom he did this after I dropped them off." She said mumbling.

"Why are you with Him still all he does is cheat, and lie."

"It was an accident."

"We're the last 3 times accidents to?"

"What the hell it gonna take for you to leave him? When he finally puts his hands on the kids or them to watch him beat you?" Amir said harshly he didn't mean to but this wasn't the first time her baby daddy put his hands on her.

"H-he won't touch t-them h-he l-loves them to much." She said sniffing while rubbing her eyes.

"Your dad loved you to but he beat you to the point you was so scared to even be in the room with him."

Mercedes glared at Amir at the mention of her father, "Arlo isn't like him h-he loves me."

Amir eyes softened she thought this was love but why, "He beat your step mom didn't he? In front of you no less. Apologized time after time but still didn't again, then he moved onto you and Jai."

"You chose Arlo because that's all you know inna nigha one that lies, cheats and beats on women."

"It's all I know Amir." She said sobbing into his chest.

" I know princess but this not love you need help mentally and physically."

"I love him."

"I know."

"I can't leave him."

"I know."

Amir knew she wasn't gon leave him so he didn't try to talk her out of it, she gotta learn no matter the consequences he just hoped it would be soon.
