Jai watched as Amir got ready on there face time call, the two have gotten closer ever since Jai and Mercedes got in that Argument.

They haven't spoken to each other and didn't try to.

"You spoke to yo sister?" Mir asked the boy who was playing the game.

"Yea." He said back.

"Mercedes not Alex."

"Fuck her, I'm tryna help ha stupid ass but all she do is complain."

Amir rolled his eyes at his new friend, "Where you going?" Jai finally asked.

"Onna date."

He turned his phone on dnd knowing Jai was gon blow his shit up like he did yesterday when he was taking a shower.

"Cause I've liked you since orientation."

They arrived at the fair, and Zane wanted to ride the Farris wheel while Amir looked at him crazy.

"Boy ion get on rides I like my life."

"Let's make you a deal I'll get on two rides every teddy bear you win me."

"Hey baby." Sam said coming in the room, "hey mama."

"You talk to Alex today?"

"I don't know what to do with your sister."

Jai put his phone down and started listening, "Ws going on?"

"She's tired she has no help in New York I told her if she was to leave Atlanta for James again she couldn't come back but now I-i have to help her she's my baby my oldest."

"Ion understand Mama."

"She's tired all James does is cheat and lie add selling drugs into the mix you know she never wanted kids her and Mercedes they always said they weren't going to have em but look at them now."

"And you don't even speak to your daughter."
