when I told Nira that I do believe in the para-normal, I wasn't lying. I actually believe in the ghostbusters, even if our government says nothing happened to new York and that people should stop believing it was attacked by a giant marshmallow guy, they can't explain other paranormal events that have been happening lately.

a church in ohio that started with only 7 members now has 107 members because someone had gotten live footage of a demonic spirit leaving the body of someone during prayer. there was a recently started cult in Florida that lost half it members  and had to end when they witnessed an actual possession. Of course I am glad that the cult ended because the possession took place right after a sacrifice where the person actually full on died no coming back, dead as a doornail, dead. it was the dead guy that got possessed.

Anyways, I decided I was out to prove once and for all if there was a ghost living in this house. But I don't know if I can do it alone. So, I asked Nira everything she knew about ghosts. Ghosts are a sort of spiritual entity, not exactly angel, not exactly demon. they are the souls of people who have not been able to cross over into either heaven or hell for whatever reason. If people are correct and (the end is near) that would make sense, especially considering this is not the only case of paranormal activity throughout the states in the last week.

Usually a ghost is still on earth because they have some unfinished business. this makes sense if my previous theory about the last owner being a murderer holds true the ghost would want revenge on the poor soul that is destined to hell for killing them. however, there is another possibility. humans have also been trapping spirits in ancient artifacts long ago. maybe this ghost was trapped in one until someone freed them.

Now how can you actually prove a ghost is somewhere? well, it would be easy if you knew what ghosts are made out of. most ghosts are made out of this stuff called ectoplasm that has only recently been able to be scanned using science. But what ghosts are made of isn't the only way to find evidence of one.

Now we get to a valid question, what exactly can ghosts actually do? ghosts can possess people, they can walk through walls, make scary noises, and in very few cases some of them can actually move objects. unexplainable occurrences such as a house being perfectly clean with no dust despite no one living in them for years, or objects seemingly moving on their own. yeah, that can do it.

I had moved a piece on the chess board and walked to the bathroom. when I returned I saw a piece on the other side of the board was moving, seemingly on it's own. Obviously this meant Nira was correct. this place had been haunted. now it's time to find out if I was correct about murder.

I put a marker on the chessboard and started talking. "oh lost soul, if you can hear me, how did you come to be trapped in the mortal plain?"

I could feel a chill as the marker slowly floated above the board. the cap came off and the ghost wrote a few words on the board I didn't understand (doorway+candy queen= apocalypse) obviously this means the apocalypse is near, of course it is. but what did they mean by doorway? like some kind of portal?

I took a picture of this so I could show Nira. I figured she would want to see this. She might know what this is about considering she was absolutely correct about my house being haunted.
