Chapter - 12

Mr Bose rung the doorbell at Subhoneel's bungalow .

Subhoneel opened the door with a weak appearance.

"Oh Mr Bose! Please come in",said Subhoneel.

Mr Bose entered the bungalow and looked around.

Mr Bose handed over the fake documents to Subhoneel.

He turned a few pages , signed on the last page and returned the file to Mr Bose.

"When can I get my wife's body?", asked Subhoneel.

"At the very moment", replied Mr Bose.

"What?", asked Subhoneel.

"Yes yes, Please wait while I bring her body",replied Mr Bose.

Subhoneel stood still for a few seconds .

He started sweating and wiping his face with his handkerchief when suddenly he was stunned when he looked at the doorway. A figure, same as Miss Nayani entered the bungalow. Subhoneel was shocked at this sight. The handkerchief fell on the ground.
"Here's your wife Subhoneel! Hope you are happy now. ", said Puromit.
"but.. "

"No, she wasn't dead.", said Mr Bose.
Subhoneel took the revolver out of his pocket and pointed at Mr Bose.

"So, you cracked the case! Well played Mr Bose'', said Subhoneel.

"How stupid of you! You are here without any cops to risk your life. You played well but didn't use your wit to win the game. ",said Subhoneel.

Subhoneel was about to shoot when Mr Bose quickly took out his revolver and shot at Subhoneel's right leg.

Subhoneel fell on the ground and his revolver was captured By Puromit.
At sharp 8:45 pm, Mr Sudeep Ghosh, the inspector , entered the bungalow and asked,"what was the sound? Are you Ok Mr Bose? "

"Yes Mr Sudeep! I'm alright and the culprit is here lying on the floor.",said Mr Bose.

Mr Bose caught hold of Subhoneel's collar and was dragged to the police station.

"So, why did you play this dirty game?",asked Mr Bose.

"Just to kill this Nayani because she was not ready to leave me. I wanted to live a settled life with Malti.

I met Malti when I settled here in Kolkata.

To settle with Malti, we both decided this whole plot because we both knew ,Nayani would never sign the divorce papers .", said Subhoneel
"So you were the one who called Nayani and gave the death threat? And what about the movie connection? And so many medicines and their buying dates which was spotted at Nayani's room? ", asked Puromit.

"yes! I was the one who placed the DVD and I was the one who brought those medicines and placed at Nayani's room because I knew that she had informed you all about this. So to prove her as the culprit, I had to do this.",Said Subhoneel.

"And also if I am not wrong you were the one who had attacked Nayani turning down the power of the house?", asked Mr Bose.

"Yes! ", said Subhoneel.

According to the statements given by Subhoneel, Malti was arrested too and Mr Bose said in sarcasm, "enjoy  your happy life here!"

"Thank you Mr Bose",said Nayani.
"No need of thanking me but next time beware while making friends like Malti", said Mr Bose.

They smiled at each other and left.
