"no, No, NO! This just won't do! You have a bit of smudges there and your bow is just- UGH! FIX THAT RIGHT NOW!"
Glisten winced at the volume of his toon handler's voice. He didn't expect them to be all angry over a single smudge.
"Alright, $?!&#-. Don't be so angry, about it. I probably was too groggy to notice that, haha."
His toon handler immediately went back to smiling, as Glisten played it cool and pulled on his sassy act.
"Oh, no, it's my fault, heh...you look nice! Totally!"
They laughed, a very fake laugh as Glisten wiped the smudge off of his glass and fixed his bow. What a two faced b*tch... (*gasp* profanity!)
*click*
"Heyyyyy Glistennnnn!"
Finn entered the kitchen and waved to the mirror, who groaned in response.
"Not now, Finn. I'm not going to deal with your puns again."
Glisten scoffed, prompting the fishbowl to hum in return.
"Alrighty then! 'Sea' ya later!"
Finn waved, sneaking a pun into the goodbye.
Glisten didn't reply. He just...sat there.
"Glisten, they need to see you out there in 3 minutes. Hurry up."
The mirror's toon handler harshly knocked, the mirror in question sending a quick 'alright' their way.
"...I don't want to be here anymore..."
He mumbled, getting up from his seat and opening his door.
[Small timeskip]
"Oh. My. Cod. You're actually not yelling at me to shut up for once!"
Finn exclaimed. Glisten didn't look his way.
"Yeah."
He replied dryly, a couple of surprised toons looking his way.
*vrrrrrrr*
The sound of the elevator was deafening as nobody dared to speak after what happened. It came as a surprise because they'd seen Glisten throwing fits about Finn's puns more than once, probably most of the time.
The rest of the elevator was quiet, save for the additional sounds of Dandy's shop music and his popping up, along with sounds of toons thanking him and starting up small talk with each other.
[Timeskip to nighttime]
"Well sh*t..."
Glisten mumbled as he straightened up his posture and walked into the kitchen. All eyes were immediately on him.
"What are all of you staring at, hm?"
He frowned, putting a hand on his hip, prompting the toons who were previously staring at him to go back to whatever they were conversing about before. Although a certain fishbowl's eyes remained on Glisten who immediately slumped and went to the farthest corner of the room.
"Psst,"
He called, causing Glisten to perk up and swerve his head to the side.
"What?"
The mirror frowned, yet again.
"Your room later, again?"
Finn continued raising an eyebrow in a questioning manner.
"Maybe the lake would do..."
Glisten mumbled back, not wanting the other to look in his currently messy room. He didn't want more people knowing about that.
"Uhhhh okay then."
Finn smiled unsure of Glisten's decision, since he usually always jumps the conversation to his room.
[Timeskip to the lake]
*splash*
Glisten stared blankly at the spot where he just threw a rock into. Barely any toons came to this place, so the two considered this their (not so) secret spot. Eh...well not entirely. On occasion, some other toons would come to the side of the lake, but were too engrossed in their own problems or activities to notice. The Gardenview lake became sort of a spot where toons could release any pent up emotions, or be a space where they didn't have to act like their 'characters'. (Yk how toons expect them to act- except for Shrimpo tho. Bros mad all the way. Sorry to those how HC Shrimpo as nice under all the madness-)
"You okay?"
Finn finally spoke up, breaking the silence.
"...physically? Yeah. Emotionally? Probably."
"Probably what?"
"..."
Silence is loud.

This was probably just them hanging out and Glisten not being okay. I'm not sure if I added enough romance in there. (Also yeah. Hi. I'm still gonna be here but not as often anymore. If I notice my grades starting to slip again I'll be offline until they come back up. Just to keep them level.)
