How Could a Bad Girl become Protagonist in a story?

A Bad Girl

"What nonsense!" I throw the book away as the ending is weird.

"Do you finish your reading?" asks Nathaniel, my right-hand man.

The smell of cigar which is blown up to the air really seduces me.

"Pfuuh" the *sigh sound made by him always seduces me to ask him.

"Give me one." I ask.

He put forth the cigarette and lighter to me.

"Sigh." I blew up the smoke in the air, "Yes, how could you recommend such a nonsense book to me!" I'm kinda upset.

"That's the only book I knew about which the antagonist won the war. I thought you may like it" He says.

"That's nonsense! I don't have time to talk about it anymore. How about our big transaction yesterday? Is it perfect?" I ask him about the thing that really matters for now.

"It's good. It's time for you to relax and get some sleep. You haven't slept since yesterday."

"How could I sleep? The transaction is worth my life. Was Mr Alexander did well yesterday?"

"Of course, he is the head of the police in our region. But... I don't know why he retired today. I think it maybe because of the money we gave is enough for his entire life."

"What? How can you think like that! We need to confirm it! Give me my phone!"

I am afraid, who on earth this thing happens.

"Well, well, well" a young policeman come out and the voice is heard both in the phone and real life.

"Mirae, finally I got you. Don't you think the police was filled up with the corrupt person? Now, meet me, Damian, I am the most honest person in the world."

"Mr. William?" I see his hands in the handcuffs.

"Raise your hand and slowly down your knee to the floor!"

Do I get caught? I can't, I will never and ever be a loser. I put my gun from my waist.

"Don't you think I am afraid?" I will never be afraid of death.

"Don't do anything, you know, the law allows me to shoot at you, whether live or die, drug dealer!"

"Calm down, Mirae!" Nathan says it and suddenly he shoots the police brutally.

Until he gets shot and I think he is dying on the floor. The silence comes out as there is only one person left besides me.

"Put your gun down!" He asks me.

How dare I do his instruction! The time I set the trigger, he shoots me.

"Really? I just died like that?"

My vision slowly blurred. And the police who shoot me come to my vision. Damian or anything, I will not forget your face. In the next life, I will take revenge on your descent.

"Princess! Princess! Are you alright?" Says some people around me.

"She is conscious! King! She is conscious!" Shout others.

"Where am I?" I get up in a sitting position.

The doctor comes out and examines me, "She's alright. But she needs some rest. We need to empty this room, crowded is not good for her recovery."

Everyone leaves the room, suddenly a man looks like the king enters the room.

"Mirae, are you alright?", what the hell is this!

"Who are you??", am I Mirae? What? I thought I was just dead? Where am I?

"I know, you need to recover as your head strikes the stones. But, let me remind you, I am King Stefan Arizona, your dad, the king of Arizona."

I think it is similar to something.

The silence atmosphere was full of the room as I was thinking about the similarities of this situation with something.

Is it about the novel I read last night? It is. I look in the mirror straight in front of me, it is not me. Am I reincarnated?

King Stefan grabs my hand, why should his eyes reflect misery? Should I call him my sweet Dad? As Mirae usually does in the novel?

"I am alright, my sweet Dad. Don't worry," I smile at him.

He looks so happy and hugs me. Hugs me tightly. It makes me cry, is it how dad hugs her daughter?

"Your highness, please let her take a rest. Crying is not good for her recovery." says the doctor.

"My little dear, don't cry." The king swap my tears in my face. Then he smiles at a moment before he leaves the room.

I walk to the mirror, "How beautiful I am!" Mirae Arizona. Even her surname is the same as the name of the kingdom, Arizona, the wealthiest and well-known kingdom in this region.

She is the protagonist character in this story. Even though she depicts as the beautiful and lovely lady, the character is powerless. However, the male lead always on her side. Also actually her husband.

"I can't wait to see them!" Says me.

"Who are them you want to see?" The voice of a man comes out to my room. There two handsome man comes out of the door.

"Hello, my future wife!" Says one of the man.

They are Sam and my future husband?! But, it seems I know his face. Is he?!
