Chan dragged himself into his house, flinging his bag onto the couch with a dramatic sigh.

Seungkwan,, plopped down beside him, crossing his arms like an over-exaggerated parent.

"So... what's the plan, genius? How are we gonna handle this problem?" Seungkwan asked, eyebrows dancing with amusement.

Chan groaned, running his hands through his hair.

"I have no idea. The university wants my parents to come in, but there's no way I'm letting  appa know. He'll make it a national crisis."

Seungkwan snorted.
"Oh, definitely. He'd probably call a family meeting, a full-blown PowerPoint presentation on how you've 'disappointed the Choi lineage,' and maybe even throw in a pie chart for good measure."

Chan grimaced. "Yeah... that's exactly what I'm avoiding."

As they were contemplating the doom of parental involvement, Chan's phone buzzed.

Vernon's name flashed on the screen, and Chan quickly put him on speaker.

"Hey, what's up?" Vernon's laid-back voice came through the phone.

"Why do you guys sound like the world's ending?"

Seungkwan chuckled. "Oh, it's not the end of the world. Just a problem that Chan's dealing with."

Vernon's voice became curious. "Problem? What kind of problem?"

"One that involves the university demanding a 'parent-teacher meeting,'"

Chan groaned. "But let's keep it vague, alright?"

"A vague problem?" Vernon's voice was laced with amusement. "Sounds serious."

Seungkwan jumped in.

"Oh, it's very serious. Chan's trying to dodge the ultimate apocalypse—Wonie uncle finding out."

"Ah, that kind of problem," Vernon said knowingly.

"Why don't you just let Mingyu uncle deal with it? He's chill."

Chan scoffed.

"Mingyu-papa? Yeah, right. He'd probably show up at the university with balloons and snacks, trying to throw me a 'my son is a good boy' party, and  appa would end up grounding both of us."

Seungkwan laughed so hard he nearly fell off the couch.

"Accurate! Gyu uncle is a bit too... supportive."

Vernon chimed in.

"Didn't Wonwoo uncle basically ban Mingyu uncle from school matters because of that time he tried to help with your sports event and almost turned it into a carnival?"
