Qrow woke up to see a bunch of unknown mercenaries which he tried to grab any kind of weapon only to find Ruby there beside him asleep
Jaune: I'd keep still if you don't want to wake sleeping beauty over there.
Qrow: so who are you guys?
Jaune: we are just acquaintances of a mutual friend of yours, the good General.
Qrow: Jimmy, so you guys work for Atlas?
Jaune: work alongside there's a difference. We are an independent company.
Qrow: Mercenaries then?
Jaune: oh? And is a Bandit any better?
Qrow grew suspicious after that
Jaune: we heard you're name is Qrow Branwen from the Generals personal files, you have a Twin Sister am I right?
Qrow:.........
Jaune: we did encounter a Raven Branwen, when we wiped out her camp of scum and villainy.
Qrow: what!?
That woke Ruby up
Ruby: Uncle Qrow!!!!
She hugs him and nearly kills him with how hard she did
Pyrrha: uhh Ruby he needs to breathe.
Ren: he's turning purple and no it's not the poison.
Ruby: oh sorry Uncle Qrow!
Qrow: Ruby can you explain what happened?
Ruby: we fought this scary looking Grimm, we were having a hard time and these guys from Rhodes Island came and rescued us.
Qrow: Rhodes Island? What kind of name is that?
Talulah: you have a problem you old geezer?
Qrow: quiet kid, the adults are talking.
Red: she isn't an Adult.
Ruby felt hurt with that seeing another girl with a red hoodie talking smack at her
Jaune: Projekt Red, behave yourself.
Red: hmph.
She sat with her back turned
Qrow: you have kids in your group.
Jaune: like I said, rag tag band of misfits.
Amiya: Doktah.
Nora: don't you mean Doctor?
Lin: that's what she just said.
Scene: it is Doktah .
Nora: uh why is she speaking so slow?
Jaune: she's a Sloth.
That got Nora starry eyed as she went and hugged Scene who was taken by surprise
Scene Drone: please put Miss Scene down! She doesn't like being touched by strangers!
Ren: huh? What is that?
Scene Drone: I am Miss Scene's assistant to help translate! Please put her down!
Nora found both of them adorable and caught the drone as well
Frostnova: that girl is pretty handsy.
Jaune: how are you adjusting?
Frostnova: it's too hot for my liking, but searching for the rest of those Bandits was trouble but making sure they don't go around ransacking other villages is worth it.
