Twenty-one year old Ziva Lyon, a force to be reckoned with, was a fifty-fifty replica of her parents. She was headstrong, passionate, honest, and sassy, and she always did what she set her mind to.

Her love for music came from both of her parents, who founded the Empire Entertainment record label. Ziva loved to sing, write music, and dance, but her father didn't think she had what it took to be out in the spotlight like her little brother, Hakeem. So, she was trapped out of the glory. Although she was the only daughter of the infamous Lucious Lyon, she was anonymous; invisible. And though she pretended as if she were completely fine with it and it was better that way, whenever her favorite older brother Jamal brought it up - she wasn't.

So when her mother is released from prison and realizes the talent her daughter has, she takes matters into her own hands, landing Ziva on the front covers of in front of magazines and in front of flashing light.
