Last Trip

Field trips are something everyone should be happy for right? Well wrong! Field trips are the worst thing every for Jake as not only does it mean that he's away from his family, mainly his little sister but it also means that if anything should happen to them it could take him forever to get there.

Thankfully the school wasn't going anywhere to far this time as they instead were taking a tour to Xavier's school for the gifted as it's something the school does every so often ever since it became a floating island and been forced to distance themselves from the rest of New York.

All thanks to those mutant hating bigots who refused to find a way to help this poor academy and everyone who lived there or was even trapped there when the academy started to drift off out to sea.

However with the help of Norman Osborn and Tony Stark a giant bridge was created towards the new island along with the Island being stabilized so they could actually have a chance at reconnecting with everyone back on the new main land.

While the school bus was driving over there everyone in the bus was talking about who they'd like to meet at the academy with some even letting out their hidden perverted ideas for some of the people there... and yes that also included Jake.

Jake: "(Laughing as he tries to quite down his schoolmates) Look! All I'm saying is that maybe, just maybe if I were to have any sort of relationship with any X-Men it'd probably have to be with it'd have to Kitty Pride, I mean-"

Before Jake could finish his sentence however he felt a chill run down his spin along with his other half telling him to stop while he was ahead and that's exactly what he did leaving the rest of the class kind of disappointed and annoyed at not being able to hear his reasoning.

With the rest of the class continuing their own discussions and talks about the school and the people inside it with very few people having anything bad to say about them but thankfully not because they were a mutant or anything but because they were X-Men and they've seen or heard them do some very questionable things over the years.

The only people who seemed to still be curious as to what Jake was about to say and give his thinly vailed reason where the people he was closest too with every one of them having varyingly different reasons as to why they wanted to know.

Some because they know viewed her as competition, others because they wanted to know why her of all people caught his interest as from what they knew she was the least lacking in... well everything compared to other except for maybe personality.

By the time the bus gets to the newly formed and made Xavier Island academy for the gifted everyone saw that not only were the Mutant kids all around staring at the visiting school but that the Fantastic Four was also there for some reason.

As everyone exits the school bus they are awestruck about everything they see along with seeing the members of the Fantastic Four walking around the school grounds seeming to try and find out if it was a good place to send someone to or just because they were curious.

???: "(Appearing in front of the school looking like a blue demon and smelling of Sulfur) Ello Mine Friends! Velcome to the Academy Ja! I am Un Nightcrawler but mine real name is Kurt so feel free to call me whatever you may like. Und I am ere to velcome thine class here and show you to zee main hall vere ze professor vill be meeting you all shortly."

Kurt starts teleporting further in the academy as all the students slowly follow him, not only because they were waiting for the pungent smell that followed him whenever he teleported but also because everyone was a little nervous whenever they looked around.

Since it's been quite a long time or worse it hadn't been that long since anyone who lived there meet or interacted with a normal human let alone interacted with any of them without getting a lot of hate just for being the way they were.
