Joong, a singing sensation, falls in love with Dunk, a man who sings in a bar. He helps him accomplish his dream of becoming a famous singer but his own shortcomings jeopardise their future.
Joong walks up to the banquet hall where the party is going on and pushes Pond in anger .
Pond- What the hell is wrong with you?
Joong shouts at Pond- Don't ask why I did that? You know. I told that boy never to sing in a bar again. I told him he'll be a successful singer. I told him he will be a star. I went to his hotel, Pond. He didn't come to me. And what did you do? You humiliated him. You hid his calls from me. You lied to him. You treated him like an enemy.
Pond- Yes, Because I'm your friend. I've been with you for years. You could've shown some respect for me. And for any darn boy..
Joong yells - He's no ordinary boy!
Pond- (nods)This is why I did it. (yells) So that you stay away from him. I didn't want this to happen, man! First alcohol, then drugs. And now..
Joong pushes him again (yelling)- Whatever I do with my life is my problem, Pond.
Pond(yelling)- No! This isn't your personal problem. I've been with you for 10 years. I looked after you, your career.I saw your success, your downfall. But, I can't see you handing over your success. "Which you need the most now, to some boy. I can't see you doing this for someone else instead. I feel sad. It hurts me. To know that you've stopped recognizing your talent. You've forgotten your own voice. One that's unmatched. Why? Why don't you see yourself? Why don't you hear yourself? You call me your enemy. Just. look at yourself.
J- You're right. But the truth is,I don't want anything. Fame, fortune,success, money, respect. It should all go to the one that deserves it.Give the bread to the one that's hungry for it. And I've seen that in that boy. And I no longer have that. And I've admitted this truth. You should too , My bro.Your friend can't pay you your salary anymore.
Pond- JA.
J- You're a free man, Pond. You can go anywhere you want.
Joong walks out of the hall.

The truth I thought is for no reason, that has become an illusion.. The story in which there were twists yet to come, it has ended (abruptly)..
Joong enters the office ....His uncle is in the meeting ...Joong jumps up the table to reach his uncle and takes him out of the meeting to take him to Dunk.
I forgot, s/he forgot.. How do I tell everyone..
Dunk is singing when a drunk man sitting in the bar in front of the podium shows him the money ...Dunk comes forward to take it ...that man grabs his hand..Dunk shakes off his hand and walks back to the podium.
Now slowly I have become hopeless, Now howsoever, I have become a bit stable.. That beloved didn't come..
Two black cars stops near the hotel ....Joong and Uncle Lotte enters the bar ....Joong looks at Dunk singing ......

Dunk looks towards Joong ....His performance is finished ...everyone claps ... Dunk grabs his bag and leaves the bar from the back door and sits in a taxi ....Joong runs to follow him and grabs the door stopping Dunk ....
J- Dunk! ......Dunk! ( holding the taxi door)Please let me explain.
Dunk looks down- Look. I work here. Don't create a scene. I got this job with great difficulty.( tries to close the door)
Joong raises his voice- Damn the job, I want to speak to you.
Dunk yells - Why should I? I've been waiting for two months. First time I hurt my parents and trusted someone. I started dreaming. Everything seemed true. What now?
J- Go ahead. You can vent all your anger. I am your culprit.
D- But, I am not. I waited for you.
J- Get in.( pushing Dunk inside )Come on.
D- What are you doing?( moves inside in confusion)
J- Get in.

J - Come on.( sits besides Dunk and closes the door) I want to tell you a story.
