I hope you enjoy the next chapter, I'm trying to get as many done. Enjoy! - LL

Izuku POV:

I had no idea how I kept getting into situations like this. Maybe it was fate, some cruel twist of the universe that always put me in the worst place at the worst time.

The meeting with Endeavor. THE Endeavor. He was the one I knew Katsuki had been dreading all week. Bakugo despised the man, and made that fact known to anyone who'd listen, but Endeavor was an old client, and his business was too important to lose. It was clear from the moment the meeting started that things were already tense.

Bakugo sat at the head of the table, jaw clenched and eyes burning with restrained irritation. Kirishima sat to his right, calm and collected as always, trying to keep things from blowing up. And then there was Endeavor, sitting across from Katsuki like he owned the room. He was big, broad-shouldered, and radiating the kind of arrogance that could choke a person. I could feel the tension the moment I walked in with the tray of coffee.

"Finally," Katsuki muttered under his breath as I entered, his glare flicking toward me like a warning.  It had been a few minutes since the meeting had started and as I walked behind Katsuki his shoulders seemed to relax ever so slightly. I carefully handed out cups, around the room. All that was left was the cup meant for Endeavor himself. My hands were already shaking, but I tried to steady them as I moved closer. And that's when it happened.

My sneaker caught on the stupid loose lace I hadn't noticed. How am I this stupid? The tray tilted in my hands. Time seemed to slow as the coffee cup tipped, the dark liquid spilling out in an arc. I could only watch in horror as the steaming coffee splashed all over Endeavor's expensive suit.

"Oh my god—!" I gasped, my heart dropping into my stomach. Endeavor shot up from his chair, his entire face twisting into a mask of fury. The air in the room became suffocating with the sheer force of his anger.

"You useless little shit!" he roared, his voice booming so loud it rattled the walls. "Do you have any idea what you've just done? This suit is worth more than your pathetic salary!"

"I—I'm so sorry, sir—" I stammered, stumbling back as his rage barreled down on me like a freight train. My hands shook uncontrollably.

"You think an apology is gonna cut it?!" Endeavor snarled. He brushed at the coffee stains on his chest, his expression dark with disgust. "How the hell did someone like you even get this job? Incompetent brat!"

I opened my mouth to apologize again, but before I could say anything, Endeavor snatched a full plastic water bottle from the table.

"Get the hell out of here!" he snapped, and before I could react the bottle flew through the air and hit me in the face. I staggered back from the impact, pain shooting through me as humiliation burned in my chest. My face flushed with shame as I brought my hand to my hair where the bottle had hit.

"OUT!" Endeavor barked, his voice dripping with scorn.

"I— I'm sorry," I whispered, bowing deeply before hurrying out of the room, my face burning with embarrassment. I made it to the bathroom before the tears came. The moment I locked myself in one of the stalls, I collapsed onto the toilet seat, burying my face in my hands as silent sobs wracked my body. I had ruined the meeting. The meeting.

Katsuki had warned me how important it was, and I still managed to screw it all up. Not only did I humiliate myself, but I'd embarrassed him too, in front of Endeavor no less. The thought of facing Katsuki after this made my stomach twist painfully. He was going to be furious. This was beyond just another mistake. I didn't think there was any way I could make it right this time.
