Chapter 04

Skip time, Jake finished taking a warm bath after the tiring day, he brushed his teeth then turns off the bathroom light then leaves. It was in the middle of the midnight. As he lay on the bed and tried to sleep but he can't.

He watched some k-drama to help him fall asleep, the k-drama he watch is What's wrong with Secretary Kim and he almost finish the whole episode until he fall asleep.

Meanwhile, Heeseung in his room. He was laying on his bed right now, couldn't fall asleep due to overthinking. Everything Jake does coldly makes him fall for him even more and he doesn't know why.

“I wonder why...” He asks himself while staring deeply into the wall, he put his arms on his head while his other hand was laying straight.

Heeseung gets up and decided to check on Jake, he wore his slippers under his bed and went to Jake's room. He entered his room and saw him sleeping.

Heeseung finds it adorable when Jake hugged a teddy bear while sleeping, he thinks Jake is so bbg coded.

“I don't know what effect you had on me, Sim Jake. I just ended up falling for you even more with your cold action” Heeseung said while staring at Jake's sleepy face. He covered him a blanket then he kiss Jake's forehead.

“Good night, Mi amor. I hope you dream about me” Heeseung said again with smirk before he leaves the room, he walks to his room then peacefully sleeps.

Skip time, in the morning. Jake woke up with a good mood. He don't know why he is in the good mood right now. He fix his bed and did his morning rituals. After that, he went downstairs and saw Heeseung already eating breakfast.

“Good morning, Jake” Heeseung greeted with a smile making Jake's heart melt and feel butterflies in his stomach but he just forced to hide it with a good mood.

“Good morning” Jake greeted to him back with an cold look and cold tone bur deep inside he can't hide it anymore.

“Come on, eat breakfast with me” Heeseung said and pats the chair next to him softly.

“No thanks, Heeseung” Jake declined his offer. Heeseung looks rejected when Jake rejected his offer.

“Come on, you might get hungry in the airport and tomorrow is my flight” Heeseung said with a puppy eyes and pout, Jake just sighed and sits next to Heeseung.

“You're lucky that you are cute” Jake said and smiles secretly and luckily Heeseung didn't notice Jake's smile. Jake's smiles faded when he saw an unfamiliar woman in the door, wearing a bracelet that looks exactly like his necklace.

“Tita Hannah!!” Heeseung stood up and ran to the woman while shouting like a kid.

“Ohhh~~ My heeseung is still heeddungie I know” The woman named Hannah said while messing Heeseung's hair that made Heeseung chuckles.

Jake just admired how the woman is being kind to Heeseung and he also have a feeling that why their seems they have a connection with this woman.

Hannah noticed Jake seating on the dining table. “Hello, young man. I supposed you're Heeseung's new bodyguard” The woman said with a smile.

“Yes, Ma'am” Jake answered in cold tone and bows to her. Heeseung laugh nervously cause he didn't expect that even in his Tita Hannah, Jake is cold.

“I'm sorry about Jake's cold behavior, Tita. He is literally cold including to me” Heeseung said and laughs nervously but the woman just keeping a smile on her face.

“It's okay, I like it when you have a cold and tough bodyguard for your safety” The woman said with a smile but the woman was confused why Heeseung's bodyguard looks like a mini version of her husband.

“What is your name, young man?” The woman asked. “I'm Sim Jake, Ma'am” Jake answered coldly, Heeseung couldn't read Jake's emotions in his eyes.

“Heeseung, Jake, I gotta go now. it was nice to meet you, Jake” Hannah said as she leaves. Jake had a feeling that him and the woman felt something like they are connected to each other.
