Hi there! I've been a longtime fan of Shayne and Courtney and ever since their marriage announcement, I've been sucked back into the fandom. I want to preface this by saying this work is entirely fictional and the Shayne and Courtney in my works are just characters based on the real individuals. This story is inspired by a story Courtney shared on reddit stories about how she was falling for Shayne but didn't want to mess up their friendship so she invited him to breakfast to ensure he wasn't catching on to the fact that she had feelings for him. It sounded like such a cute memory so I decided to write this based on that. I'm a big fan of unresolved tension and slow burns and classic fanfic tropes so prepare for all that.
