The moon cast an ethereal glow upon the dense forest, its silvery light filtering through the canopy and casting dancing shadows on the forest floor. May and Max, their faces etched with worry, pressed on through the undergrowth, their Pokémon, Blaziken and Sceptile, trotting beside them. They had been searching for Serena for hours, and the night was beginning to close in.
Serena had disappeared into the forest with Greninja while Gary, Professor Sycamore, and Alain fought ash.
Now, May and Max were the only ones left to search for her. They had split up from the others, hoping to cover more ground , their Pokémon ready to assist them on their journey.
May - blaziken light up the way, Venosaur and Beautifly come out.
Max - Sceptile use leaf blade to clear the way , Gallade come out.
May's fiery chicken ignited his wrists , casting a warm glow through the darkness. Venasaur, with its powerful vines, would be able to traverse the canopy, Beautifly, with its keen eyesight, would scout from above, spotting any potential dangers and look for Serena.
Max, on the other hand, would rely on Sceptile's leaf blade and Gallade's psyco cut to cut through the undergrowth and overcome obstacles.
As they ventured deeper into the forest, they encountered a variety of challenges. Thick vines blocked their path, forcing them to use Sceptile's leaf blade to clear the way. A raging river barred their progress, but Venasaur's vines allowed them to cross safely. A flock of aggressive bird Pokémon attacked them from above, but Beautifly's swift maneuvers and Blaziken's fiery attacks drove them off.
Deeper into the forest, they stumbled upon a clearing. The sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting a dappled pattern on the forest floor. But something was amiss. A low, rumbling growl echoed through the trees.
Before they could react, a herd of Rampardos burst from the undergrowth. These massive, prehistoric Pokémon charged towards them, their powerful bodies shaking the ground. Blaziken and Sceptile stepped forward, ready to defend their trainers.
May - "Blaziken, use Flamethrower!"
Blaziken ignited his fists, unleashing a torrent of flames that engulfed the charging Rampardos. The creatures roared in pain, but they continued their assault.
"Sceptile, use Leaf Blade!" Max shouted, his eyes locked on the approaching Rampardos.
Sceptile's leaves transformed into sharp blades as it slashed at the Rampardos, causing it to stumble.
"Gallade, use Psychic!" May added, her voice rising with excitement.
Gallade raised its arms, releasing a powerful psychic wave that pushed the Rampardos back. The creatures were disoriented, their movements slowed.
"Venasaur, use Vine Whip!" Max commanded, his voice filled with urgency.
Venasaur's vines lashed out, ensnaring one of the Rampardos. The creature struggled to break free, its movements hindered by the vines.
Despite their best efforts, May and Max's Pokémon were overwhelmed by the sheer number and strength of the Rampardos. The creatures broke free from Venasaur's vines and charged at the siblings.
May and Max were forced to retreat, their Pokémon fighting desperately to protect them. The Rampardos chased them through the forest, their roars echoing through the trees.
As the tried to retreat they realised that they were cornered. The tens of rampardos were all closing the distance and all their pokemon formed a protective cirlcle around them and using their attacks too protect them.
