Chapter 7 - Lost

Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed through the night. The helicopter shook violently as a massive shadow loomed overhead. Ash, now consumed by darkness, rode atop his Charizard, his eyes glowing with a sinister red light.

"There he is!" Misty shouted, pointing out the window. "He's found us!"

Ash's voice, cold and devoid of emotion, boomed through the air. "You can't escape me. Charizard, attack!"

Charizard unleashed a torrent of flames, the fiery breath scorching the air around the helicopter. The pilot swerved desperately, trying to avoid the onslaught. Inside, the friends braced themselves, the heat from the flames seeping through the metal walls.

"Serena, we need Greninja!" Clemont yelled over the roar of the helicopter.

Serena nodded and looked towards Greninja The sleek, dark blue Pokémon appeared ready,  "Greninja, we have to protect everyone and save Ash!"

Greninja leaped to the open side door of the helicopter, its eyes locking onto Charizard. With a swift motion, it launched a barrage of Water Shurikens, the spinning blades of water slicing through the air towards Charizard.

Ash's eyes narrowed. "Charizard, dodge and counter with Dragon Claw!"

Charizard evaded the Water Shuriken's with agile movements, then lunged forward, its claws glowing with a fierce green energy. It swiped at the helicopter, the force of the attack causing it to lurch violently.

Serena's voice rang out, clear and commanding. "Greninja, use Double Team to confuse Charizard!"

Greninja created multiple copies of itself, surrounding Charizard with illusions. Charizard roared in frustration, swiping at the illusions but hitting only air.

"Now, Greninja, use Dark Pulse!" Serena ordered.

Greninja's eyes glowed as it unleashed a powerful wave of dark energy, hitting Charizard squarely and causing it to roar in pain. Ash's expression twisted with anger.

"You betrayed me, Greninja!" Ash shouted, his voice filled with venom. "You were supposed to be my partner!"

Greninja's gaze was steady. "Ash, you're not yourself right now you're being controlled by that amulet out of control. Until the real Ash is back, I will only listen to Serena."Greninja croaked but only Ash and Serena could understand what he was saying...

Serena - Greninja use Hydro pump !

Greninja retaliated with a powerful Beam of water, the water splashed against charzard violently hitting Charizard's stomach . Charizard roared in pain but quickly recovered despite the super effective move, its eyes burning with rage. and smacked greninja right onto the helicopter with a dragon claw. 

Serena - Greninja! oh no no no what do I do?

Greninja, sensing Serena's desperation, launched itself from the helicopter, landing on Charizard's back. It grappled with Charizard, trying to subdue the powerful Pokémon. The two Pokémon clashed fiercely, their attacks lighting up the night sky.

As the battle raged on, the helicopter shook violently from the turbulence. Serena leaned out, reaching for Ash. "Ash, remember who you are! Remember our journey, remember me?

Ash's friends watched in horror as Ash's expression twisted with malevolence. "You can't save me. I don't need saving!"

Serena's eyes filled with tears. "Ash, didn't remember her at all".All the moments they had shared across Kalos even her gift at the end. All gone.

Ash - You're really starting to really annoy me now girl, Charizard fire blast at the girl ! 

In a desperate move, Charizard unleashed a massive Fireblast.....

Greninja moved with lightning speed, intercepting the flames with a Hydropump, but the force of the maneuver caused Serena to lose her balance. her footing dissapeared as she slipped from the helicopter, plummeting down...........

"Serenaaaaa!" Clemont , Bonnie , Sycamore Cynthia and Gary shouted in unison, their faces pale with fear.

 AaaaSH!!!... Serena Shouted as she fell. If she was going to die, she might as well remember the person she cared the most about before it all ended.

At that moment inside Ash felt broken.. No Serena! Charizard save her, Charizard's eyes had returned to normal at that moment and  he nosedived at full speed to save Serena who was now falling towards the earth.

Ash reached out his arms as he tried to grab Serena, Charizard dived bellow her falling body and ash caught her by the torso and managed to stop her fall in the nick of time.

 She had fainted from falling, she lay her in his arms as he looked Apon her with worry and tension.

Ash  whispered to himself " what have I done ?"tears started forming in his eyes.

His Aura exploded all around him due to the huge surge of emotion the amulet started glowing a very bright red and Ash was no more again. The amulet had taken over at the worst moment possible as serena lay motionless in his arms.

Ash (possessed)  -  This girl has caused me too much trouble, She's a risk alive! ... As Charizard's eyes began to glow red again he picked up her body and dropped it again........

GRENINJAAAAA !!!!!!!

A loud croak could be heard as his figure moved past Ash like lightning as it dove down ,he managed to secure her body and  cushioned her fall with his tongue acting like a grappling hook he lashed it onto a tree and broke their decent saving them both.....

2 hours later somewhere in Hoenn....

Serena's eyes fluttered open  and she looked up at Greninja, they were in the middle of a forest somewhere in Hoenn. "What happened  Greninja ? Where are we?"

Greninja - Serena, thank goodness you are awake I was afriad we had lost you. and he explained her everything that happened.

Serena - Thank You Greninja I owe you my life, I don't know what I would do without you she said as she hugged Greninja.

Greninja - I will always protect those who are near to me Serena, dont worry.

They were lost somewhere in a forest in Hoenn as Serena realized that they were lost but the thing that astonished her the most was that Ash broke out of the amulets control as he saw her fall.

Maybe there was still hope that he remembered her..........Maybe she was the key to saving him.
