Chapter 4: And then came His Arrival.

"There are tales of a man along with his proxies, they roam the dark forest hunting anyone who enters and trapping children inside, a little girl with a ponytail and a red bow went in that forest and never came out, russell, as hero of twilight city you are tasked to find the missing girl and return her home to her family but be careful it's dangerous in there, you'll encounter a being you've never faced before" explained wilfred, "i'll do my best sir, the hero will return her home safe and sound" russell vowed as he runs out the door. Russell arrives at The Dark Forest in search of the girl but before he could enter he runs into Haru and a boy with a red cap and green eyes "oh... you must be the new kid my friends have been talking about, I'm Caleb Caslick!" Caleb greeted, "Wait, you two know each other" Haru questioned, Russell rolled his eyes "not really; but how did you end up here?" he queried, "I got pulled into my TV when I was playing Breath of the Wild" Caleb replied. Russell, Caleb and Haru entered the dark forest but upon entering the forest it was pitch black "Geez, it's kinda dark" Russell pointed out, "did you bring a flashlight" Caleb inquired, "no, but i did" haru asserted turning on her flashlight, "okay, let's find this girl and get out of here" said russell.

The group walked through the dark forest hearing ticking noises from all around, growling noises from above and tv static, a figure runs towards a piece of paper that was in the groups sight "yui, is that you? I've been looking all over for you, and you were here the whole time" haru asked, yui ran up to haru and hugged her "haru I'm sorry, i wanted to find these pages without you so that you would be safe" she cried, then the noises got louder "Hey Russell, Did you bring a TV with you?" Caleb asked, "Caleb was it? How would I fit a TV in my Pocket!?" Russell questioned, "but I do want to know where that noise is coming from" he added, suddenly a girl in a red hoodie and a creepy mask jumped down from the trees then a boy with orange goggles wielding two hatchets jumped down as well, this scared off yui and haru as they ran out of the forest leaving russell and caleb defenseless "caleb you go that way, i'll go this way" whispered russell as caleb runs away, the girl and boy started chasing caleb "ROUGE, TICCI TOBY" russell yells as Rouge and toby around facing him, "FOCUS ON ME" he yelled running away. Russell ran into an abandoned house and locked the door "I need to hide, but where" he panicked, Russell ran upstairs to desperately look for a place to hide until a little girl in an empty closet called him over "In here!" she squeaked, recognizing her as Sally Williams, Russell hastily hid in the closet.

Rouge and Toby entered the room russell and sally were in but found nothing "We know you're in here so come out" toby demanded, rouge was getting impatient and started trashing the place "*growls*" she growls. Then a man in a brown coat and a man in a yellow hoodie come into the room "sorry we were late, Mask needed to brandish his machete. So who's our victim this time?" Hoodie asked, Russell busted out of the closet and swung his sword at rouge knocking her out the window, Russell swung his sword at Toby, knocking him to the ground but mask knocked the sword out of his hands and restrained Russell, "This will be good!" Hoodie beamed, hitting the record button on his camera, then slender showed up and started reaching for russell "let go of me, and don't come any closer" he warned, slender put his hand on russell but when that happened, russell blacked out.
