The day had been bright, filled with laughter and chatter as the members gathered to celebrate J-Hope's discharge. It felt so real having everyone together again. The air filled with both relief and excitement. One by one, each member hugged Hobi, taking turns celebrating their reunion. But for Taehyung, it wasn't just about J-Hope. His eyes kept drifting to Jin, who had also been discharged recently. Maybe it was because they had seen each other briefly after his discharge, but Taehyung couldn't help the feeling gnawing at him. He had missed Jin, missed him in ways that were difficult to explain, even to himself.

As the hugs circled through the group, it was finally their turn-Taehyung and Jin.

Without thinking, Taehyung stepped forward and pulled Jin into a hug, his arms wrapping tightly around his tiny waist. But this time, Jin didn't respond the way he usually did. Instead of wrapping his arms around Tae's shoulder, Jin shifted slightly and wrapped his legs around Taehyung's waist.

Surprised but smiling, Taehyung's grip instinctively tightened as he supported Jin's weight, holding him close, as if they were the only two people in the world. Jin laughed softly, his breath warm against Tae's neck.

"I've missed you, hyung" Tae whispered, his voice barely audible. The world around them blurred as Jin pressed closer, his lips brushing against Tae's ear.
"I missed you too" Jin murmured in return, his arms clinging tightly to Tae's shoulders. It wasn't enough. It never felt like enough, not after the time they'd spent apart.

Suddenly, without warning, the sky opened up and a light drizzle began to fall. It was almost poetic, the soft rain gently soaking their clothes as they held onto each other. But instead of letting go, Tae just tightened his grip.
"Rain?" Jin asked, his voice amused but soft.
"Doesn't matter" Tae replied with a grin.

Within moments, the drizzle turned into a full downpour, the rain soaking their hair and clothes. But instead of breaking the embrace, Taehyung shifted, pulling off his jacket and draping it over both of them to shield Jin from the worst of the rain.

Jin chuckled, his laughter vibrating against Taehyung's chest. "You're getting drenched too, you know."
"Doesn't matter" Tae repeated, his voice lower, more serious now as he gazed at Jin. His eyes softened, and before Jin could reply, Taehyung lifted him slightly, adjusting his hold so Jin's legs wrapped tighter around him.

Without another word, Taehyung began walking towards the car. Jin clung to him, his face buried in Tae's neck, as the rain beat down on them. But neither of them seemed to care.
Tae opened the car door with one hand, setting Jin down gently inside before slipping in next to him. The rain tapped rhythmically against the car roof, but inside, it was warm and intimate. Jin looked over at Taehyung, his hair dripping wet and his shirt clinging to his frame, but his eyes were focused, intense.
For a moment, neither of them spoke, the air thick with unspoken words and emotions.

AT Dorm:
Back at the dorm, the members settled into their routines. J-Hope was doing a live stream on Weverse, his excitement filling the room, while Namjoon, Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook busied themselves with their own activities. But Taehyung and Jin had slipped away unnoticed.

Finding a quiet, secluded spot in the house, they stood together, the sound of the rain still faint in the background. The air between them felt different, charged with something neither had fully acknowledged until now.
Taehyung leaned in first, his hand brushing against Jin's cheek, wiping away a stray droplet of rain still clinging to his skin. "You're cold" Tae whispered, his voice gentle, but there was a heat in his gaze that sent a shiver down Jin's spine.
Jin didn't reply, but instead closed the distance between them, his lips hovering close to Tae's. His breath was shaky, his hands sliding up to grip Tae's shirt, still damp from the rain.
"I thought about you every day" Jin finally said, his voice barely above a whisper, as if the words had been buried deep for too long. Tae's breath hitched, and he cupped the back of Jin's neck, pulling him in for a soft, lingering kiss. It wasn't rushed. There was no urgency in their movements, just a slow, deliberate connection, as if they were savoring every second. The kiss deepened, and Jin's hands found their way back to Taehyung's waist, his fingers gripping tighter as if afraid Tae might disappear. Tae responded in kind, wrapping his arms around Jin's tiny waist again, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them.
When they finally pulled apart, both were breathing heavily, their foreheads resting against each other's.
"Why did you wait so long?" Jin asked, his voice soft, almost teasing, though there was a genuine question beneath it.
"I didn't know how much I needed you" Tae admitted, his voice barely above a murmur.
Jin smiled at that, his eyes sparkling with affection. "You're an idiot" he said, but the words were filled with warmth.
Tae grinned, leaning in for another kiss, but this time it was playful, teasing. "I know" he whispered against Jin's lips, "but I'm your idiot."

And with that, they stayed close, wrapped in each other's arms, letting the rest of the world fade away, at least for a little while longer.
