Adrena reappeared in the hall, her presence shifting the atmosphere instantly. The players knew the brief respite had ended, and the third level of Round One was upon them. With a snap of her fingers, a golden screen appeared overhead, displaying their next task:
Round One: Level Three
Target: Find the books hidden in the dorm rooms
Time: 4 hours
Obstacle: Whatever you feel
Reward: Special luxury item
Penalty: None
The objective seemed simple—find their team’s book in the dorms. But the challenge was far from straightforward, especially when Adrena revealed the keycards to their dorms had been disabled and new ones were placed at the entrance.
While most players were unsure about the task’s hidden danger, Lumin and Awandea wasted no time, sprinting toward the dorm entrance. Their sudden urgency piqued the interest of Hinata, who suspected they had a strategy, leading his team and others to follow closely behind.
Upon arriving at the entrance, the other teams found the keycards already gone. Lumin and Awandea had taken them all. Tensions rose as the teams confronted Lumin, only to be met with a steep price—500 coins per keycard. Nicole and Pierre challenged his motives, but Lumin’s cold indifference revealed no weakness. Awandea found the first book in the dorms, but it wasn't theirs. She handed it to Lumin, and the duo moved from room to room, searching swiftly.
Demnin’s Team B tried negotiating for a keycard, but Lumin stood firm, only offering a keycard for payment. As frustrations boiled, Lumin’s and Awandea’s methodical search yielded results—they found the book for Team AB and gave it to Florida without charge. The other teams watched in confusion as Lumin and Awandea silently shouldered the burden of the search, refusing to explain their actions.
With the clock ticking and the tension mounting, the players realized that Lumin and Awandea weren’t here to harm—but their motives remained a mystery. For now, the only certainty was that the stakes were rising, and the next level promised more than the players could anticipate.
OVERLOOKED
ESCAPE THE HALL LV.3Time ticked away, each second seeming to slip through the grasp of the remaining teams in the dorm building, who watched as Lumin and Awandea meticulously combed through the dormitory rooms. Team B, C, AB, AA, and AC followed their every move on every floor, observing quietly from the sidelines. Despite the fact that there were no penalties for this level, none of the other teams showed any desire to compete. Curiosity, and the hope of obtaining a book, were the only things that compelled them to follow Lumin and Awandea.
