In the cave of the Lord of the underworld, a Purple haired girl walked in and placed her bag on the side as she walked down the wooden stairs

"Dad, I'm home!" She yelled out as saw her father, sitting on the couch, lost in thought

She knows that he's thinking about her late mother again, Mal knew her mother died giving birth to her and sometimes blames herself for it but her father would always reassure her that it wasn't her fault but the king of auradon's for sending all the villains here

The purple haired girl walked to her father and sat next to him and placed her hand on his making him stop thinking and looked at his daughter

"Oh, you're back Sweetie..." The god said with a small sad smile, Not wanting to worry his daughter

"Were you thinking of Mom again?" She asked as he nodded sadly and looked away as Mal rested her head on her dad's shoulder as he nodded and wrapped his arm around his daughter

"You can say that...16 years since she's been gone..." The god said in an upset tone and stoked his daughter's hair

"Do you think it's my fault that she died...?" Mal asked as hades shook his head, His daughter had always blamed herself after she found out her mother died after giving birth to her but he didn't want her to think that

If anyone was to blame, It was the beast and his stupid plan to bring the villains here to auradon, Especially while his wife was pregnant with their daughter

"Why don't you go freshen up Abit? You look tired." The god said as his daughter nodded and stood up to go to her room

The god then sighed and stood up as he walked past a broken mirror and opened a small box with a small paper that was taped to it labeled "My queen" which was something he loved calling his love, under a table as he opened it, In it it was everything she had owned and their pictures together

There were all her things such as her favorite silver multi necklaces, Her spell book, her favorite black earnings, her gloves, her favorite red lipstick and a lot of pictures of them together from their first date to their wedding, Along with her wedding ring

Under the table was also her scepter, he hid it from Mal when she was a baby to not get herself hurt from it so he hid it as well but it was powerless since Maleficent was the only person who could use its power properly and can control it easily

Hades then heard a clash in Mal's room as he immediately ran towards it and opened the door

"Mal, are you okay?!" The god asked worriedly and saw...Her finger, bleeding with blood

"Yea...I dropped my scissors but I'm fine- Dad...?" The purple haired girl looked at her father, His face filled with scared and worry

Hades eyes widened in shock and horror as he was breathing heavily and gripped on something as he began remembering something, something he wishes to forget that's only nothing but bad memories and unwanted things that he wants to forget...
