TAEHYUNG was sure that he was getting the silent treatment from his grandfather.

He hadn't spoken to him in the two days since he had returned from Vienna and the older man hadn't tried to get in touch with him. But Taehyung knew they would have a confrontation sooner than later. His grandfather wasn't the silent type and it was quite obvious that Lisa had told him something.

She hadn't been coming to office and Lisa's boss Soohyun had told Taehyung that she was unwell.

The next day Taehyung was working late in his office when the door opened and his grandfather walked in. Taehyung got up from his desk and came forward to greet him, but the old man simply ignored him and sat down on one of the sofas. He was carrying a folder in his hands which he placed on the coffee table in front of him.

Before Taehyung could say anything his grandfather said, "You and I need to talk." He indicated that Taehyung sit down. Taehyung sat on one of the side sofas and turned to face his grandfather.

"Taehyung, what you did to Lisa was disgraceful. She didn't deserve it."

"What exactly has she told you?" Taehyung asked him not sure how much of the truth his grandfather really knew.

"Everything, including all your accusations about Lisa having an affair with me," Gong yoo replied.

"Oh! I see. Lisa has complained to you about me."

Gong yoo shook his head exasperated. "Taehyung, before we get into a heated discussion on this subject, I would like you to read this, please." He picked up the folder and handed it to Taehyung.

Still looking at him Taehyung opened the folder and pulled out its contents. The top sheet was a hand written letter and the rest was a legal document, a will.

Taehyung started reading the letter first.

"I'd like you to read it aloud please, so I am sure that you haven't missed out anything."

"I, Lee Deok-hwa, of sound mind and body am writing this letter and attaching this will with it."

Taehyung stopped. "Isn't he the media tycoon, whose media business you took over on his death?" Taehyung asked, sounding obviously surprised.

"Just continue reading, you'll get all your answers, I assure you," Gong yoo told him.

Confused Taehyung just continued.

"After my death, I would like that the following things be acted upon:

1. I, pass on the legal guardianship of my two grandchildren, Lalisa Manoban and Myung Jaehyun, to my close friend and business associate Kim Gong yoo. I entrust Gong yoo to look after my grandchildren as I am sure that he will care for them like his own.

2. My entire media business which is worth a few millions as of now, I sign over completely, again to Mr. Kim Gong yoo, who will be its custodian until the time my granddaughter Lalisa Manoban is of 25 years of age. After that, the business will go to her, to do with as she pleases. I trust Lalisa to look after her brother's interests, no matter what she decides to do with the business.

3. My current monetary holdings are worth two million dollars at the time of writing this letter. I entrust Gong yoo with the power to invest this money as he sees fit, with the stipulation that each of my grandchildren benefits equally from his wise investments. I also entrust Gong yoo to use this money to care for all the needs of my grandchildren and to provide them with a certain amount every month. Of the investments made from this money, I request Gong yoo to hand over an equal share of the invested money to each of my grandchildren when they turn 25.
