The sun streamed through the curtains, illuminating Taehyung's room as he prepared for his first day of post-graduate classes. Excitement buzzed in the air, mingling with the lingering traces of sleep. He stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his shirt, his heart racing at the thought of new beginnings. After finishing his morning routine, he grabbed a book from his desk, eager to pick up where he left off.
As he flipped through the pages, he read aloud a particularly romantic line that resonated with him: "In that fleeting moment, the world melted away, and all that mattered was the warmth of our hands, the tingling electricity that danced between us." A soft smile crept across his face as he pondered the possibility of experiencing such a moment.
Suddenly, his friend called out from the hallway, "Hey, Taehyung! Are you coming or what? We're going to be late!"
"Yeah, I'm coming!" he shouted back, quickly tucking the book under his arm.
In the car, the two friends chatted excitedly about the day ahead. As they drove through the city, lush greenery framed the streets, the vibrant colors of nature invigorating Taehyung's spirit.
Feeling adventurous, he rolled down the window, letting the fresh morning breeze fill the car. Taehyung leaned out, a wide grin plastered on his face as he felt the wind rush past him, tousling his hair. He sat up straight, extending his arm out the window and playfully waving it in the air, relishing the coolness against his skin.
From behind, a biker passed by, his face hidden behind a helmet and mask. He raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the sight of a hand sticking out of the car window. With a mischievous smile, he pedaled forward, positioning himself just within reach.
As he rode up alongside the car, he reached out with his right hand to grip the handlebars, while his left hand grasped Taehyung's hand firmly. Taehyung's heart raced at the unexpected contact, his eyes widening in shock. He glanced to his side, catching sight of the stranger beside him.
"Whoa!" Taehyung exclaimed, his voice barely above a whisper. The warmth radiating from their hands sent tingles coursing through his body.
The biker, with intense eyes gleaming under the helmet, smiled knowingly. "It's not safe, cutie. Keep your hands inside!" he called out teasingly, squeezing Taehyung's hand gently before retracting it, the wind whipping around them.
In a blur, the biker zoomed past, leaving Taehyung flustered and confused. "Wait!" he shouted, half-excited, half-embarrassed, leaning out the window further, his heart still racing from the unexpected interaction.
But the biker was already disappearing into the distance, leaving Taehyung staring after him, a mix of awe and longing in his expression.
As the car continued its journey, Taehyung sat back, his heart still fluttering, replaying the moment in his mind. The warmth of the brief touch lingered, leaving him with a sense of wonder and a spark of hope that perhaps, one day, he would experience the warmth and connection he had read about in his book.
"Did you just call out to a stranger?" his friend chuckled, glancing at him with a knowing grin.
"Maybe," Taehyung replied, a soft smile creeping back onto his face, his mind still caught in the magic of the morning.
Taehyung sat in the lecture hall, doodling absentmindedly in his notebook. The excitement from this morning's unexpected encounter with the biker still buzzed in his mind, making it hard to focus on anything else. His best friend, Jimin, sat beside him, scrolling through his phone and occasionally glancing at Taehyung.
"Are you even listening to the teacher?" Jimin teased, nudging him playfully.
Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm just thinking about how this is going to be an amazing two years."
Just then, the door swung open, and the professor entered, followed by a new student. "Class, we have a new entry today," the teacher announced. The newcomer stepped forward, and Taehyung's heart skipped a beat when he heard the familiar voice.
"Hello, I am Jeon Jungkook," the student introduced himself, his tone confident yet friendly.
Taehyung's eyes widened in disbelief. His heart raced as he looked up from his notebook. It couldn't be! Memories of their brief encounter flooded back, playing on a loop in his mind: the warm touch, the tingle, and those intense eyes behind the helmet.
As Jungkook scanned the classroom, taking in the faces of his new classmates, Taehyung couldn't tear his gaze away. When their eyes met, time seemed to freeze. Taehyung's breath hitched in his throat. Those were the same intense eyes he had seen earlier, sparkling with a hint of recognition. Jungkook smiled knowingly, and in that moment, everything clicked into place.
"It's him," Taehyung whispered under his breath, unable to believe the coincidence. The excitement he felt earlier surged back, now mixed with a thrill that sent butterflies dancing in his stomach.
Jimin, noticing Taehyung's sudden change in demeanor, leaned closer. "What's up with you? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Taehyung shook his head, still mesmerized. "No, Jimin, it's just... I think I met him this morning."
"Who? The new guy?" Jimin asked, raising an eyebrow with curiosity.
"Yeah! The biker! He... he held my hand!" Taehyung blurted out, his cheeks flushing at the memory.
"No way!" Jimin's eyes widened in excitement, leaning back with a grin. "That's so cool!"
Meanwhile, Jungkook had taken a seat a few rows ahead, still glancing back at Taehyung with an easy smile. Taehyung couldn't help but smile back, his heart racing. The atmosphere in the room shifted for him; he felt a surge of energy and enthusiasm for this new chapter in his life.
The anticipation of spending the next two years alongside this intriguing person fills him with a sense of hope and excitement.
