**At the Mission**
The tension in the warehouse escalated quickly. Yoongi, Jimin, Cherry, and Winnie had successfully disabled the guards and communications, but something felt off. The quiet hum of the machinery and the emptiness of the place didn’t sit right with Yoongi.
“Hyung,” Jimin whispered, his eyes scanning the dimly lit room. “Doesn’t it seem too easy?”
Yoongi’s jaw clenched as he glanced at Cherry. She was rapidly typing on her laptop, pulling up floor plans and mission data. “There’s something we’re missing,” Yoongi muttered. “This doesn’t feel like their main base of operations.”
Just as Yoongi was about to give the order to move forward, a sudden burst of noise echoed from the other side of the warehouse. Metal clanging, followed by hurried footsteps.
“They’re here,” Cherry whispered, eyes wide.
Yoongi signaled for the group to take their positions. “Jimin, take the left flank with Cherry. Winnie, cover our rear. We’ll engage them head-on.”
The team moved swiftly into formation, their hearts racing but their minds focused. Yoongi led the charge, his instincts sharp as he scanned the area for their enemies. The door at the far end of the warehouse burst open, and several armed men stormed in, clearly caught off guard by Yoongi and his team’s presence.
“Move now!” Yoongi shouted, lunging forward as he took out the first attacker with a swift punch to the jaw. Jimin followed close behind, his agility allowing him to dodge blows and land precise hits on the enemy. Cherry and Winnie, working in sync, provided cover fire from the side, ensuring none of the guards could advance.
For a moment, the chaos was overwhelming, but Yoongi thrived in it. His team moved like a well-oiled machine, dismantling their enemies one by one. The mission was going smoothly....until it wasn’t.
From the shadows, a tall figure emerged. He was different from the others stronger, faster, and clearly well-trained. His eyes locked onto Yoongi, and the tension in the room thickened. Without hesitation, the man lunged at Yoongi, a flurry of punches and kicks exchanged between them in a matter of seconds.
Yoongi growled, ducking just in time to avoid a punch aimed at his face. This man was good..too good. But Yoongi wasn’t about to let his team down. With a quick sidestep, Yoongi grabbed the attacker’s arm, twisting it behind his back and slamming him into the nearest wall.
“Stay down,” Yoongi hissed, panting slightly as he secured the man with zip ties.
The battle was far from over, but Yoongi’s team had gained the upper hand. They moved swiftly, neutralizing the rest of the threat. When the final guard hit the ground, unconscious, Yoongi exhaled, wiping the sweat from his brow.
“We need to leave,” Yoongi said, his voice calm despite the adrenaline coursing through him. “Jimin, call Namjoon and inform him of the situation. We’re done here.”
Jimin nodded and stepped away to make the call while Cherry and Winnie began gathering any intel they could find. As Yoongi took one last look at the defeated enemies, his thoughts already shifted to the next phase of their mission.
**Back at the Mansion**
The atmosphere at the mansion was the complete opposite. While Yoongi and his team were out in the field, Jin and Hoseok remained behind, their duties to provide support if needed.
Jin, however, couldn’t help but feel a rising sense of jealousy as he glanced over at Hoseok. Hoseok was casually lounging on the couch, wearing a tight, form-fitting black shirt that clung to every muscle of his lean frame. Jin couldn’t deny that Hoseok looked… distracting. Too distracting.
