An alarm made explosive cries of non stop sounds, forcing me to wake up. I wasn't fully awake but, my right hand removed the gun that was strapped to my body. Finger on the trigger, as a reflex I shot the alarm clock.

Where the fuck am I?

My vision was fucked, my surrounding were blurred objects that didn't look too familiar to me.. I rubbed my eyes, looking around to see that I was now in my bedroom. I looked at where my alarm clock once was, oh shit.

How did I get back here?

I picked up my phone & the time read 6:40am. Rolling my eyes, as I got up my surroundings began to spin causing me to put my hands on my bed for support. Taking a couple of deep breaths, I went to the window to see if anyone one was here. My Mercedes was the only car in the driveway. I dragged my ass to the bathroom & grabbed my tooth brush & tooth paste. After brushing my teeth, I realized that the lights were off in my bathroom. I don't know why I wasn't aware of them being off in the first place. When I turned them on, I saw a hickey on the side of my neck. That's Great. I took a quick shower trying to scrub it off. When I got out, I realized I just made it look purple.
Whatever. I smirked at my reflection realizing how stupid I was for doing that.

I put my gun into my flashbang holster, that was in the front of my bra. I threw my hair in a sloppy bun, slipped into my black Nike hoodie & nike spandex shorts.

I made my way downstairs, to my surprise I see my dad & step mom eating breakfast.

My step mom smiled. "Morning"

"Good morning dad" I smiled.

"Sarah" I said with disgust.

"Good morning honey" my dad said kissing my forehead.

"We just got in, how'd you sleep?" He asked me as he responded to whatever he was doing on his phone. I took a piece of bacon from his plate.

"I slept fine"

"Good" my dad nodded.

"We will be here today. We have a dinner invitation at the neighbors house, this includes you as well Marley" Sarah spoke as she drank her coffee.

"Why me?" I asked.

"It's a welcoming dinner" Sarah said with a stern look.

"What if I don't want to go" I protested.

"You're-" Sarah began.

Ignoring her I cut her off
"I'm running late to school! I'll talk to you guys when I get back!"

"Have a great day" my dad said getting up to hug me.

I squirmed out of the hug, & managed to say "Okay see ya".

I got in my car & threw my backpack on the passengers side.

"Siri, hello" I talked to my phone.

"Hello" the male British voice spoke. (I'm American, I just decided to put Siri's voice like this)

"Take me to Julian high school"

"That is a 15 minute drive Marley"

"Okay"

"Starting route to Julian high school"
