"Get the hell out of my broom closet!"
Seraphina yelped and her hair was flickering between orange and red.
There she was, standing face to face with a couple kissing. They jumped apart and scowled at her, before pushing her out of the way and leaving, probably to a different closet. She faked gagged and cast the silencing charm and the locking charm. She didn't want to get involved with lovebirds. She never understood why people would bother getting into relationships when everyone was going to die anyway, some sooner than others.
And just to her luck, she knew exactly who would die soon. She had to stop herself from bursting into tears whenever she saw the Creevey brothers because she knew. She knew that they would get brutally murdered by deatheaters. Lavender Brown, Fred Weasley, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks and so much more. She wanted to save them but it was a burden. She knew so she had to do something. She knew but she couldn't tell. She knew and it was such a responsibility that she felt like she wasn't fourteen.
She felt like The Boy Who Lived. He was only fourteen too but he was in a life-threatening competition and the wizarding world either hated his guts or expected him to save them. Only she was The Girl Who Knew. Her parents weren't killed by the Dark Lord. She didn't receive a scar. She wasn't stuck with awful and cruel muggles. But she was just like him. They both had to save the world but the world only knew that one of them existed. Sometimes she had meltdowns and just thought Why do I have to save them? I can just let them die. But then she remembers if those people die and she does nothing then the guilt would eat her from the inside out.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden creak and a thud.
Luna Lovegood was sitting in front of her.
In her broom closet.
Her hair turned red and she started to exclaim loudly, but not loud enough for other people to hear.
"Get the hell out of my broom closet! What in Merlin's left ballsack are you doing here? I locked the door for a reason!"
"Don't jump"
Seraphina gaped at her in shock before her hair became yellow and she burst into laughter.
"Jump? Sorry but I love myself too much. Besides, I have things to do with my life. Why in the Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore would you think that?"
"Well I didn't see you in class and you're always getting bullied so I thought you might," Luna explained.
Sera's hair flashed pink and went back to white immediately as she realised how close Luna was to her face.
"Thanks for checking on me," she burst before rushing out of the closet, leaving Luna there and staring where she just was.
In the Room of Requirement, Sera was in a bed with her face buried in a pillow trying to understand what just happened.
Why the hell did I blush at Luna Lovegood?
