Hello everyone,

I want to take a moment to acknowledge that the storyline of THIS story is not MY ORIGINAL. It is inspired by the Bengali film "Shesh Anka."

I decided to write about this after hearing the story from my mom, as I was really taken by the concept. Initially, I thought I would wait to see the response after writing the SOME part, and then acknowledge it if I chose to continue as I've already told you in the AUTHOR NOTE.

However, Mamree, a well-known writer, reminded me that I should have given credit for someone else's hard work, and I realized that I was wrong for not doing so before start writing.

Though I only used the first part to build my story, yet I should have acknowledged the source right from the start. I understand now that my actions have hurt her deeply.

I should have considered this before posting my disclaimer.

My regular readers know that I always credit my inspirations and seek permission from the original authors whenever possible. Unfortunately, in this case, it was difficult since the entire cast of the film may have passed away. Nevertheless, I should have acknowledged it before writing anything, similar to how I did with my work "Estrange Love."

I don’t want my readers to misunderstand me or see me as dishonest, so I'm removing the content here.

I sincerely apologize to everyone for not acknowledging this earlier and for any inconvenience it may have caused you.

Mamree Di is understandably upset with me and has suggested I remove her comments and continue it, but I assure you, I'm not the type of person to hide from this issue, especially since many readers may not understand Bengali.

Again, I apologize to you, Di, for unintentionally hurting you. I realize you may find it hard to trust me now, but I genuinely intended to give credit once I progressed further in the story. I won't dwell on my apologies any longer, as I understand that strong beliefs can be hard to change. I've done what I could; the work has been removed.
