I woke up, my face still puffy from all the crying, throat still itchy from all the screaming of last night. Lumi left the apartment last night during our argument, she hasn't come back since. 

I made myself some tea to ease up my sore throat and sat back onto my bed. Last night made me realise, Lumi wasn't a good friend, neither was she a good person. She had made me drive all the way home and screamed in my face the second I came in, I felt guilty but after her description of what had ever happened between her and Nicholas, I realised she was a sick person. She only exchanged a few words with Nicholas, and those words were "Could I get your friend's number ? She's adorable", which he asked, referring to me as he was pointing at the sofa I was sat in. She said I wasn't interested in anyone and that I'm boring anyway. She did that because she liked him, not because it was true. 

In that moment I cut her off, even though before that I was trying to fix everything but after hearing this, I couldn't even stand looking at her. 

I took a sip of my tea and placed it on the night stand I had next to me. I laid down and shut my eyes. I wasn't even sad, I was just disappointed. Disappointed that my best friend would do that to me. Disappointed that Nicholas probably hated me right now for how I left things off yesterday. 

I barely finished off some work on my computer but I decided to close it and put it away for the day already, it was impossible to put my mind to it when Nicholas was everything I had my mind on. I finally went on my phone, there were a few missed calls from Lumi, which I definitely would not be picking up - and a few notifications from instagram. I unlocked it and clicked on instagram.

I sat up and LITERALLY screamed. I smiled and kicked my feet. The weight immediately fell off my shoulders. HE WASNT MAD. Just as I looked down on my phone I saw another notification pop up on the top of my screen.

I opened up the chat as quick as possible with a huge grin on my face.

My smile grew even bigger. I sat up and started typing away.

He responded in SECONDS, just as I was about to put my phone down.

I knew the first message was sarcastic, I let out a small giggle and then just stared at it. I wanted to see him the most out of anyone right now and that second message made my heart flutter.
