"Student, are you okay?"
" What, whose there?"
"It's me, the librarian, Frisnè or Mr Hurly."
My eyes fluttered wide open.
"You. I was supposed to find you!"
"What, wait. Follow me."
I walked through the library with him, soon we entered a secret passage way underneath the librarians desk. We then went through a tunnel and the pendant began to light up.
"Where did you get that?" He asked me as he eyed me.
"Oh, this? Well I found it on the floor so I picked it up to give it into...lost property."
"You are a terrible liar! You'll have to get better at it. Now you'll need to be very careful." He said, seemingly vexatious.
A few minutes later he started to chew his lip, it started to annoy me.
" Why are you chewing your lip? "
" I'm only worried about the Demůlœns." He said that quietly, obviously not wanting me to hear what he said.
"What are they?!" I exclaimed as I pointed towards two ginormous monster like people walking towards us. I say a flash of steel in the candlelight.
"Well, the Demůlœns are gau...oh, that is the Cemuïï they eat magic and live underground they have an illusion to look like humans. We better get out of here or I'll keep babbling on and we..." He said as he lead us away slowly.
"Luckily they are a bit blind. Anyway, stand back if you can. "
He raised his palms to the top of the Earth tunnel and chanted:
'Goddess Hecate hear my cry, Goddess Isis hear my plea, Goddess Diana I invoke the, turn and twist let us escape! Hniee pkinin tiln Cemuïï wntyil yphval mnteryil!'
To me it sounded like he said:
'Hinie pik-in-in til-n Cem-u-i winty-il why-f-val munter-ri-il.
I guess it was another language of some sort.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yes, why?"
"You don't even know we're somewhere else."
"Oh."
"What was that language?" I asked.
"It was Mythilitian."
"What, who..." I trailed off as u saw a cave made purely of Magic. It shimmered.
"You will find the history of them here since we are in the grand forest of El. We are here on the island of the Mythilitians, this is were HQ is. I'll read it for you. "
We walked down a dried up mud path and into the cave. It had strange symbols on one of the sides.
"What does it say?" I asked Frisnè, I've always loved archeology.
"It says; Before Mythilitia, which is the capital city, and the Angel Islands were found five basic tribes existed on the island. One on the Angel Islands. Anyway, a gang of explores called the J-gang civilized the people and learnt their 'symbol' language instead of teaching them English. The tribes all used the same symbol language, the five tribes were:
One- The Mythic tribe, they were the main tribe, everyone wanted to become allies with them. They were known for
being the best fighters, most, religious and resourceful.
Two- The Leavions, they were the smallest tribe and known for their strong connection with nature and for being the most peaceful tribe.
Three- The Watedej, the largest tribe. They were known for being-alike the Leavions-connected to the water. They did everything on water and mean everything.
Four- The Willdoms, the wisest tribe. They taught well actually still teach the 'Ways of the World' which helps them understand the world as they and we see it.
The fifth lived on the Angel Islands
They were called Angellius. They were known for never giving up or losing hope. They had some people in the tribes that possed the powers of:
Fire
Water
Earth
Air
Lighting
Ice
Light
Dark
Dream
Nightmare
Melody
Telekinesis
Life
Transformation
And Technology although they did not know what to use it for really.
About 80% of the Mythics had one of the fifteen powers. 62% of the Leavions had either Earth, Light, Melody, Life and Transformation. 90% of the Watedej have the powers of Water, Lighting, Ice, Telekinesis and Transformation. 95% of the Willdoms have one of the fifteen powers. There is more and not exactly as it is written but you won't need to know any more. Now you can ask questions later."
I was amazed and bored. Then he quickly muttered the same, well kinda near-ish the same words before. Then there was darkness.
