Moonrise

Chapter 8

She looked at me. Then she walked around me as I stood still in complete astoundment towards the Goddess. Symltainiously we walked to the right, then forward, to the left, backwards then right again.
"Ok, what the HELL is the matter with you?!" I shouted at her. She was kind of creepy, she stepped back obviously noticing the emphasis on the word 'hell'.

I always knew. Always. Ever since she was young, I hid her. No one knew. Except for I. Whenever a dark presence was near she would be unseen. Not noticed. Now, she would need to be. I could feel Arrivisa's eyes search her. Mæ. What I did was hide her birth mark. It showed the truth about who she is, Arrivisa needed to see it. To prove that she wasn't lying. I had to do it.

"Mæ..."
"Did you hear that? "
" No. What was it? "
"My mothers voice. "
"Huh."
Suddenly the whole cave was filled with my mother voice. She was chanting.
'Lny iy bn snnit, Tiln bntalyil mkalal. Bn snnit. SHOW!'
Suddenly a strange birth mark appeared on my right hip. I could see only because it shone. I pulled my shirt up to see it clearly because not only the shining stopped but also because I'd never seen it ever. Or so I think. It was on the shape of a cresent moon.
" Aah. The mark." Arrivisa smiled warmly.
" I dinna ken it was there...What was that?!"
" It was old Scottish I think. Inherited from your Farther."
"How did...?"
"Its a gift." She shrugged.
"Cool!"
"Now follow me."
As we strolled through the cave I noticed that scenery kept changing. First it was dirty, mossy and cold but it slowly became clean, colourful and warm with a golden glown!
"Wow, this is like a paradise!" I said.
"It's more of a ahh!" Exclaimed the shocked Arrivisa.
"What?!"
"Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you there!" A women said apologetically.
"Who are you? " I asked.

"This is Calypso, my twin. Calypso meet Mæ and visa versa. I forgot it was the day of Spes!" Arrivisa explained.
"So you're sisters?"
"Yes, we were cursed to live imprisoned. Arrivisa in a cave and I an island. Arrivisa cursed them and we can only see each other on the day of Spes. She also made the Gods exclude her from known Gods and Goddess'." Calypso replied.
" It's Mæ, moongirl!!!" Said Arrivisa excitedly.
" So that means..."
"Yes! "
" What about me?"
"Fourteen days!"
"Phew thank god! Oh no! I need to go now see you in fourteen days." The Goddess Calypso said hurriedly.
Then before anything else happened a storm of snow and ice broke out. Arrivisa said one word in a whisper.
"Khione."
