Chapter 8 Younger Izzy is confused about the future

Izzy's POV (2013)

As teenage cubby and cubby along with the kids were eating lunch, I was in the bathroom along with Jake who was taking a nap at the moment. But for me, I was so confused about the future what was future Jake talking about? What's going to happen to me in the future? And how can I calm my best friend down?" I asked myself all of these questions as teenage Jake and Izzy came upstairs.

"Guys, what's going to happen to me in the future? I need to know." I told thee teenagers.

"Jake sweetie, how about you go and check if the kids along with both the Cubby are okay? I got this." Teenage Izzy told him as he kissed her forehead and left.

Izzy's POV (2022)

"May I please sit down?" I asked as she gestured for me to sit down on her bed.

"Look younger Izzy, you're going to go through a lot of surgeries in the future." I started to tell her.

"What kind of surgeries?" Younger Izzy exclaimed.

"Well, apparently you already know about the fraction toe since you got it already last year." I told her as she nodded.

"You will go through some appendix removal surgery, this year, in the same year of 2016 you're going to be having a fractured back and major leg surgery done, in 2018 you'll be having nodules, and last and not the least 2019 you'll be getting your tonsils removed." I explained to her while started to tear up as hugged me tightly.

"Sh, it's going to be okay." I told her.

"Am..I..going..to...die...

during...all...the..

surgeries...that...I'm going...to...have...in...the future?" Younger Izzy wanted to know.

"No, sweetheart you're not going to. Because you're going to be okay. And you're also going to be hooked up to a lot of monitors. Now. Just that scary part." I said.

"Now I'm scared." Younger Izzy exclaimed.

"I know sweetie, I know cuz I'm you from the future. I mean I lived it now, it's going to be your turn." I said.

"Can I get some water?" Younger Izzy asked.

"Sure." I said as she laid back down on the pillow.

As I went downstairs into the kitchen to grab a cup of water for younger Izzy, I saw that the boys along with Princess were eating ice cream.

"Hey guys! I told them hey as I took the cup of water and left.

"Where you going Mommy?" Princess asked.

"Oh, I'm bringing this water to younger Izzy." I told her.

"Wait, who's that water for?" I wanted to know.

"Oh it's from younger Daddy!" Princess said as we made it back into their room.

"Hey, I think younger Izzy fell asleep." I told my daughter.

Once I walked up to her bed, I pulled the cover over younger Izzy and placed her childhood teddy bear in her hand. Princess did the same thing to younger Jake.

"At least you put his sword next to him." I told her.

"Hehe, yeah I did." Princess said as I giggled.
