It had only been three months since Pack Greyback had made their journey northward to the vast land of their new home territory, and already they were beginning to really settle into their new homes. The Pack was really happy with the new land and the new lives they were being granted so freely from Harry's generosity with his estate and his inheritance. It had taken them roughly three weeks of the first month for them all to get there; seeing as they all ran as a large pack of wolves through rough mountainous terrain, snows, sleeted rain, icy cold winds with bitter chill, and dense pine forest while they avoided human towns. They ran quickly and efficiently; Fenrir leading the way there as the Alpha to them all with Harry's directions.
The Pack saw how the Amarok enjoyed running in the cold snow; how his body seemed to meld with it and to become one with it. More than once they'd witnesses him howl and cause the severe snow to slow some in order to allow them passage. Respect for Harry grew; as the pack was witnessing his connection to his creature, his mana, and to Mother Magic.
The pace was hard for some of the pack due to their ages or their conditions; but not brutal or detrimental to them. Even for the older pack members joining the move, the children, or the pregnant pack members among them. Fenrir was taking extra care to be wary and cautious; since his mate was now bearing.
By the time the pack had arrived to the land itself; the goblin teams had already been there for some time. Clearing trees, rocks, other debris and such. Having made the land useable for them to build on. The lead goblin approached Harry and greeted them; then gave over blueprints he had designed to a show a layout on it to make the new settlement function.
Harry viewed them over with Fenrir; both agreeing the design was a rather good one. Harry edited a few minor things, but left them mostly the same and ordered the supplies needed for beginning construction. More than was already brought or gathered by the goblins.
The whole pack then got to work with help from the goblin construction teams; the first immediate things built were the houses for the pack seeing as the sooner they had them the better, the food storage facilities, the greenhouses to grow crops through the on-coming winter, a new school for the kids; complete with a playground, and the new medical clinic.
Once those were done; several others things were done to help their survival. A new general goods store was made, a fishery with a large hatchery, the hunting grounds were scouted and mapped to know where they began, ended, and how to close them off to the children who were not of the age to hunt.
They had a new large inn; for when they began to have guests again, though Harry knew it would be some time before that happened. Along with a new bathhouse for them to use as well. The mines in the distance were set up and already producing them ore, so a new smithy was made to handle requests. A sawmill was made with a an attached carpentry workspace for the pack as well as a leatherwork workshop; seeing as most of the pack hunters did know how to treat and cure leather.
One of the pack families opened an apothecary for ingredients and potions.
Three or four large farms were spread out over the space for the pack; but two them were run by two families, while the others were communal and everyone saw to them at some point. However, seeing as the cold season was upon them now; the greenhouses were providing for them until the spring planting time.
Letting the soil be watered by the snows and to rest for some months before being utilized.
Harry and Fenrir's new home was probably the largest of the houses built; as should be in accordance to tradition for the pack. The Pack's traditions were a lot in line with the pledges made to the God of the Hunt; by whichever name each member used. But, overall; most would see them and think towards the viking era.
