**Jeemin's POV**

I let out a big exhale as I climbed into my bed on the top of the bunk.

Alright Jeemin. Let's go to sleep so you can experiment if you'll have to be reliant on another girl to sleep. Nothing out of the ordinary.

"You good?" Jiyoon wondered, eyeing me from the confines of her bottom bunk as I was deep in thought in front of the ladder.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be!" I popped up onto my bed quickly to avoid further investigation.

"Jeez. My bad."

"I-I'm sorry, was just thinking about something," I set myself down in a comfortable manner: underneath my blanket and tightly hugged my plushie. "Can you get the lights?"

Come on Jeemin Bang. Just fall asleep and life will work the way it should. There'll be no need to sign some crazy agreement for sleeping like a couple of psychopaths.

I did not fall asleep.

I still lay up, cycling through my thoughts, being soothed by the melody of Jiyoon's snoring and the constant background noise of crickets chirping. I was about ready to give up and go outside on my leisurely walk again, but I figured that by doing that, I would be breaking our hypothesis. I should follow through with this experiment, no matter what; that's only the correct thing to do. I must endure the test of boredom to make it to the next day. Maybe Sarang is already asleep too.

"Oh hey! You're actually in the room when I wake up today!" Jiyoon remarked smugly.

I rose from my bed like a vampire, "That was hell."

"You didn't sleep?"

"I couldn't."

Jiyoon ruffled my hair, but I quickly swatted her hand away, "Aww, you can't sleep without your lucky girl." She slapped my thigh, "C'mon, it's time for your favorite~ Chemistry!"

"Shut up."

"Let's get up and get showered young lady. We've got all your adoring fans to see," she snickered.

I groaned, "I really have to stop being so nice to them. It's such a bother answering like 20 questions after class each day when I barely even understand it myself."

I quickly outfitted myself with a vanilla blouse, red & black flannel, and a pair of jeans. I grabbed my backpack from my desk and led Jiyoon out the door, "Let's hurry this up, I need to set things straight with Sarang after class."

**Sarang's POV**

I rummaged around my room, trying to find some activity to do to spend the time. I laid on that mattress for 5 hours just idly laying there, in thought. I couldn't believe it, but Jeemin was right; I can't sleep without her.

Was she sleeping without me? Was I the only one who'd suffer this problem?

I couldn't let those negative thoughts cloud my mind. I figured I need some fresh air to get my head straight. I hoped that I would come across Jeemin too; to learn I wasn't the only one still suffering. This was also convenient since I needed to find Nasuri. I still haven't found her since I woke up this morning. I figure she couldn't be in the dorms anymore since there hasn't been any commotion about a pet wandering around here, so that must mean she went outside before anyone woke up right? Right?
