Evelyn's POV:

March 31, 2012

"This dress looks beautiful on you Eve." Jessica my makeup artist says as she touches up my makeup.

"Thank you, Jess." I reply, with a small smile.

"You know.. I heard that Justin wanted to introduce you to that famous boy band.. what is it again? One something, addition?" She says with squinted eyes. I let out laugh.

"One direction?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

"One direction, yes that's the one. He said they're fans of your work and have been wanting to meet you. Have you heard of them?" She says excitedly.

"I've heard the song that's what makes you beautiful, but other then that I don't know anything else about them." I say licking my lips and slightly shaking my head.

"Why are you so excited about this?" I ask laughing at her bright smile that she puts on when she knows something I don't.

"Oh no reason at all. Just one of the boys said in an interview that they thought you were very pretty and would love to meet you." She says with a child like grin.

"I'm not looking for anything right now and I've never met them before.. so why are you about to jump out in excitement?" I say squinting my eyes at her.

"Yes I know but I'm just excited for you. They're going to be at the show tonight and if you end up liking one of them.. I wanna know all about it. It's time for you to get back out there. Even if it's just for fun or friends. This could be good for you. Get you out of your lonely bubble." She says giving me a hopeful grin.

"I told you I don't want to meet anybody else Jess. I'm tired of being let down by people I trust. I'm not ready for anything new in my life. I'm fine as I am, even if it's in my lonely bubble." I say sternly picking my head up and crossing my arms.

"Yes I know. You're always fine. But still this could be a good thing. Trust me, I have good feeling about tonight." She says giving me a wink before she turns around back to the big makeup bag.

I let out a small laugh at her antics. She's in her early thirties and happily married with two adorable babies. She's been my makeup artist for three years now and I couldn't be happier about it. She did my makeup once for a vogue photoshoot when I was 16 and I've been working with her ever since. We just hit it off I guess. She feels like my older sister. I love her a lot and her babies. Mason and Lilly, they're absolutely adorable. Her husband's nice too, I look up to her in a way. She's always so carefree and happy, always talking about how her and her husband met in high school and haven't looked back since. I love their dynamic. He has framed pictures of them in his office at work. She handmade a keychain with pictures of their little family imbedded in the plastic. As well as charms that represent every one of them. A infinity symbol to represent there marriage and love, a turtle to represent Lilly because she loves the ocean and is obsessed with the little turtles that live there, and a baseball for Mason since he loves playing even though he's only almost three and can barely catch the ball.

Everything about them is so pure to me and I want nothing more than to have the same kind of future. I've always loved love but something about theirs specifically. Something about marrying your best friend just seems like a dream come true. Something about falling in love and spending the rest of your life with somebody you can tell anything to, somebody who knows you better than you know yourself, Somebody who makes you feel loved and seen but can also call you out when you're wrong and argue with but also make you laugh until your stomach hurts and argue with to get your emotions out and appreciate every second of it, to want it forever. I just can't even stomach the idea of having something so intimate. I hope I find that in someone.. someday. But not today.
