I met Simone outside the club, and when I tell you it was packed, I mean it—the line wrapped around the building.

She walked up to me, her eyes sparkling. "My girl is looking bad!!!" she exclaimed, hyping me up and drawing attention from passersby, making me blush.

"Shut it, Simone. People are staring at us," I said through gritted teeth.

"And let them look, girl, because you deserve to be looked at," she shot back, grabbing my hand and making me do a slight turn.

"Okay, but you look amazing too. I assume it's for your friend?" I teased.

"Okay, now you're doing too much," she laughed, pulling me toward the front of the line. Both men and women shot us disapproving looks as we passed, and I couldn't help but chuckle at her confidence.

When we reached the front, the security guard looked us up and down. "Name?"

"Sevani," Simone replied, and without missing a beat, we were ushered inside, leaving a chorus of complaints from the crowd behind us.

As Simone spotted her friends in the VIP section, her face lit up with excitement. "There they are!" she exclaimed, pulling me along. We navigated through the crowd, the beat of "Sexy Red" vibrating beneath our feet.

When we reached the VIP area, Simone rushed forward and wrapped her arms around a tall guy with a warm smile and easy charm. "Antonio! I've missed you!" she said, pulling back just enough to look him in the eyes.

"Simone! You look amazing!" he replied, grinning from ear to ear.

She turned to me, her eyes sparkling. "Aria, this is Antonio."

"Nice to meet you!" I said, offering my hand.

He took it and smiled warmly. "Great to meet you, Aria. Simone's told me a lot about you."

"All good things I hope" I said laughing

"She wouldn't have it any other way" he said

Antonia waved toward the others in the section. "And over here, we have Tony and Stergios."

I glanced at the girls, who smiled back, then looked at Tony, who gave me a casual nod. But when my eyes landed on Stergios, something shifted. He was leaning back in his chair, his gaze locked onto me with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. For a brief moment, the noise of the club faded away, and it felt like it was just the two of us.

Then, just as quickly, he looked away, returning to his conversation with the others, but the heat of his stare lingered. I blinked, trying to shake off the feeling as Antonio ordered more drinks.
