We Were Drunk

Chapter 5

Maya's POV

We walked into Starbucks and saw Riley and Farkle holding hands. Riley stood up and waved us over to the table. We chuckled at her excitement and walked over to them.

"Riles, what did you get?" I asked

"Try it." she said handing it over

I took a sip.

"Yum, thanks." I said taking her drink

Riley giggled.

"Yeah, I knew you were gonna do that." Riley said grabbing another drink

"Farkle, what did you get?" Lucas mocked

"Try it." Farkle said

Lucas rolled his eyes and gave him back the drink.

"Dude, no." Lucas said

We all laughed and I felt Lucas put his arm around me. I blushed and looked down so Riley and Farkle wouldn't see me.

"So guys, there's this party-"

"No, Riles, last time I went to a party things were bad." I said

"Yeah! You slept with her uncle!" Farkle said

Lucas smacked his arm and Riley giggled.

"I know but this time, I won't leave your side." Riley said

I rolled my eyes and looked at Farkle.

"You have Farkle." I said

"So?" Riley asked

"Your gonna be busy with him, and I'll be drinking, then I'll sleep with someone else you forbid me to date." I said

Lucas and Farkle chuckled. Riley was thinking about something.

"Riles?" I asked

She snapped out of it and looked at Lucas.

"Lucas." she said

"What?" He asked

"You'll stay with Maya in case Farkle and I get lost." Riley said

Lucas looked at me and smiled.

"Okay, I've got Clutterbucket." He smirked

I rolled my eyes at him, but I giggled a little. Farkle put his arm around Riley and she smiled at us.

"So when's the party?" I asked

"Tomorrow night." Riley answered

"Ok." I sighed

"Hey, don't worry, I'll spend the whole time watching you." Lucas trying to make me feel safe

"That's really weird ranger Rick." I chuckled

They joined in and we finished our drinks.

"Peaches!" Riley said

"Yes?" I laughed

"We need to pick out something to wear!" Riley said

I gave her a confused look. She rolled her eyes and sighed.

"For the party tomorrow." Riley said

"Ok, but don't you have to pick out what Farkle's wearing?" I asked

Riley nodded. She always picks out his clothes for him if we go to parties. They're a cute couple.

"Ok, so Lucas, you can help Maya pick what she's going to wear." Riley said

"Ok." Lucas agreed taking a bite out of my cookie

"Hey!" I said hitting his arm

"Sorry! I just took a bite." Lucas said

"It's my cookie." I said

"I deserve some." He said

"Why?" I asked

"Because I have to help you pick out what to wear and watch you at the party." Lucas said

"So?" I said

"Please." Lucas said

I looked across from me to Riley. She was laughing along with Farkle.

"Please! Please! Please!-"

"Ugh! Okay, here!" I said as I threw the cookie at him

He caught it and ate it super fast. He gave me a hug and I laughed as I hugged him back. Riley smiled at us.

"You two are going to be a super cute couple!" Riley squealed

I rolled my eyes and tried to pull away form the hug, but Lucas was still hugging me.

"Uh- cowboy?" I said

He pulled away and his face turned red.

"Ooooooh! He's blushing! He likes Maya!" Riley cheered

"Who likes Maya?" Someone asked

We all jumped in our seats.

"Uncle Josh, you scared us." Riley said taking a breath

Josh chuckled and looked straight at me.

"So who likes Maya?" He asked again

"Lucas!" Riley squealed

"No I don't Riley." Lucas said

"Yes you do! You two so like each other!" Riley said

"Ewwwww! No! Ewwwww!" We said at the same time

Farkle chuckled and Riley frowned.

"Sorry babe, they don't like each other." Farkle said with his arm around her

Riley looked at Josh.

"So uncle Josh, what's up?" She asked

"Just hanging out with some friends. We're going to a party tomorrow." He said

Riley jumped out of her seat.

"Really we are too! I thinks it's the same party!" Riley said happily

"Really?" I said sarcastically

Riley playfully rolled her eyes at me while the guys laughed. Josh looked straight at Farkle and he gulped.

"Your dating Riley?" Josh asked crossing his arms

Farkle gulped nervously and stood up next to Riley. He put his arm around her shoulders and she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Yep." Farkle smiled

Josh nodded at him before giving him a serious look.

"Watch her tomorrow okay?" He said seriously

"Yeah, I will." Farkle nodded

Josh smiled and waved to us as he left the table. Riley looked at her phone and gasped. She grabbed my arm pulling me up from my seat next to Lucas. He stood up next to me.

"What?" I asked

"It's time to go get our outfits!" Riley squealed

She grabbed Farkle arm and pulled him almost out the door. She turned back to Lucas and I.

"Lucas hurry up! Maya has to find something to wear to the party! And make sure it's cute!" Riley shouted before dragging Farkle off with her

Lucas and I laughed as we walked out of Starbucks together.

Party tomorrow! Josh is gonna be there. Riley wants Lucas to watch Maya and take her to go get an outfit.
