Taming her

chapter 16

                       I can't be your love
          Cause I'm afraid I'll ruined your life

            While the leaves withered away
                         And grew again
                 You have gone far away
                 I'll be pushing up daisies
            And bring all the chances to here

I just continue singing, letting my self drown into her beautiful pair of eyes. It's mesmerizing how her eyes got me hypnotized in a way that I can't explain and figure out yes. Is it cliche to say that her eyes are the most captivating pairs I have ever laid my eyes on?

          By your side, I'll be your seasons

I smiled as I noticed how her face soften, unveiling a peek of vulnerability on it. But just as when I'm close to seeing her unveil moreof this new side of her, she immediately turned her gaze away from my sight again like an hideous hunter  afraid of showing its true identity.

I finally ended the song, smiling widely at her kahit na hindi ito nakatingin.

She shifted her gaze back at me and I've noticed that the softness earlier is completely gone now, her face went back to it's usual stern and intimidating look.

" Ehem how's my performance, Miss?" I cleared my throat and asked making her eyebrows arched up, she then stood up from sitting and faced me.

" Pwede na." She nonchalantly replied, making me smile ear to ear. I don't know but her answer made me feel something, it's odd.

" Pwede na? What do you mean? Magaling o hindi magaling lang ang applicable na answer dito."

She signed and rolled her eyes, she's looking so stressed as if the world has turned its back on her, " fine, you're magaling na. Happy now?" I laughed when she let out na parang pilit na pilit at mag pagka-sarkastiko pa.

" Of course I'm happy, a beautiful woman  like you complimented my skills. Isn't that something for me to be proud of and brag about?" I said l, grinning at her.

" Don't flutter yourself, I said that only because you're cornering l. You left me no choice, you see. Mataray niyang saad, crossing her arms over her chest. Napaka-, indenial nitong straight na'to.

" So, I'm not magaling?" I bravely asked a chief silence filled the atmosphere.

" You did a good job.... She finally let out a word and paused, stepping closer at me. I immediately stepped back, realizing how close our bodies are from each other and it feels oddly suffocating.

I'm not kind to easily step back and get stunned but what's happening now?

" G-good job?" I mentally cursed myself when I let out a stutter, this can't be I shouldn't look cooland chill in front of her. C'mon max, play it cool!

" Yes, you did a good job disturbing my peace." And yet again I was left here dumbfounded as she immediately dashed off after uttering those words.

I felt my body had gone completely frozen and my feet stopped from functioning na parang nakapako na lamang ito sa kinatatsyuan ko nganyon. I scoffed, why does she hold such power over me?

My body heaten up, an unexplainable irritation suddenly lingers inside my veins maki g me sigh in frustration. Nakakainis, bakit Kasi kailangan niya pang gawin yun? Hindi nalang  niya sabihin na magaling ako. Ang pakipot! Ang in- denial!

"Huy, sino hinaharana mo dyan? Halaman?" I got shocked by an abrupt voice coming from nic who's now standing behind me. Suddenly, I felt all the irritation inside me urging to let out so I did. I turned around and faced nic with a frown on my face

" Mama mo halaman!"

" Luh."
