chapter 17

I came across them, having fun at the living room. Some of the visitors already went home as it's already night, kaya kaming walo nalang ang natitira sa living room. Their laughters are very loud and all of them are sitting on the floor, circling around with a bottle in the middle.

" Hoy tol, sali ka?" Nic called me,I immediately put my phone inside my pocket
I just came from the garden when I converse through a phone call with my dad. Kanina ay may sari-sarili silang mga mundo medyo nagulat lang na ang ingay na nila pagpasok ko.

They all gaze at me, I noticed how elyse teasingly nudge yves beside her pagkakita na pagkakita palang sakin. Yves gave her  quick glare and fixed her eyes at her phone instead.

I just nodded and went beside nic na nakapuwesto sa harap mismo ni yves. It's not like sinasadya koha, Nic literally pushed johan away na katabi niya kanina para lang makaupo ako sa tapat nito ni yves, I love you na talaga tol, may dos ka sakin.

I saw how ms. Sungit rolled her eyes the moment I sat along with them. My eyes followed her movement when she suddenly stood up and fixed her clothes. " I'll go now." She said, not even bothering to look at me.

Grabe naman, ang sakit mo. Eme.

" Hey it's still early, don't be a kill joy." Elyse grab her hand and motioned her to sit back, but she won't budge. She looks pretty determined to leave now.

" She's right yv, why so eager to leave? Are you perhaps avoiding someone from her?" Aya added making this woman in front of me widen her eyes and are frows .

Naramdaman ko naman  and pagsiko ni Nic sakin, dahilan ng pagtingin ko sa kaniya. She just gave me a meaningful look, waving her eyebrows habang nakangiti nang nakakaloko.

"No, who who on earth would I even have a care to avoid here? Of course, no one. " This masungit girl sound very defensive as if she's being held at the courtroom.

Kalma retsam, di ka naman inaano eh.

"Okay, if you say so then stay a little more and let's enjoy this little game, shall we?" Aya is their ate of the group so Wala na siyang nagawa pa.

I saw how elyse and sky giggled because of her reaction, mukang pinagtutulungan na siya ng mga kaibigan niya.

She the let out an annoyed groan before sitting back to where she was sitting earlier, sa harap ko. I mentally chuckled when Elyse playfully winked at me.

Okay, get's ko na.

" Since you join us, you're unaware pa sa rules ." I hear sky told me from the side, sitting beside Gab. She the gestured gab in a softest way for her to explain the rules for me.

" If the tip point at you, whoever twisted the bottle will dare you to do something or ask you for a truth depending on what you will choose between truth or dare. But, if you choose to do neither of the two then you have to will have to drink this cupped  filled with vodka as a punishment." Mahabang pagpapaliwanag ni Gab na ngayon ay nakapulupot ang kamay sa bewang ng nobya. She showed me a red cup at punong puno nga ito.

I just nodded as a response to her long explanation. They started to play again, kanina pa namumula sa tabi ko si johan dahil kanina turo nang turo sa kanya ang bote. Luckily, the bottle hasn't landed on me yet kaya Wala pa natatanong at naipapagawa sila sakin.

I smirked when the bottle landed on Johan right after I turned it. She's beside me na mahinang napamura ngayon.

" Truth." Mahinang sabi niya.

" Okay, joh." Paninimula ko at nagpakawala muli ng nakakalokong ngisi.

" Have you ever been in love." I paused, agad naman siyang sumimangot.

" C-corny! H-hindi-."

"..... With your bestfriend?" I slyly  smirked at her. Her eyes are now bulging as if I said something so shocking. It's obvious that she wasn't expecting it.

She threw me a death glare and cursed at me under her breathe. All eyes are now on her including Nic whom she's been secretly admiring ever since highschool days. I saw how gab laughed, ito namang si nic at nakasimangit at cluesness na cluesness lang.

Ang manhid naman kasi ni Nic.

I was taken a back when she suddenly chuc the red cup filled with vodka. Suggesting that she doesn't wanna answer it, ayan tayo eh torpe talaga. She then let out a groan and a disgusted face right after chugging the liquor.
